Under September family vacation we stayed at the lodge at Palmers Gulch. The KOA campground had a lot of neat amenities to include horseback riding a coffee house and a pizza place. They also offered several pools as well which were nice for the kids. We did not have much interaction with the staff at the lodge however the staff... More

My daughter and I have stayed at the Palmer Gulch KOA campground several times. We haven't stayed in the lodge, do I can't speak of that part. But we have stayed in a cabin, and camped in the campground. The cabin we stayed in was nice. It had 2 queen beds, clean bathroom, cable tv, and a small kitchen area.... More

We had a 5 day reservation and upon arriving, a few of us were not looking forward to 5 days there. The pictures in the website are very deceiving. The room had a must scent- probably due to the fact the decor was from the 1970s. The carpeting felt disgusting. The beds were lumpy. The worst part was the toilet,... More

We stayed here in July of 2014. I will not be back. The hotel has no central air and when you have to wait 15+ minutes to check in, it gets hot. Upon arrival in our room, the microwave which we paid extra for had a broken leg, but we were told there were not more. I tried to sit... More

We originally were booked in a "row cabin." I should have asked more questions as to what that was exactly. I assumed it was a stand alone cabin. It was not. It was a motel room. My fault for not asking. However, our row cabin was not very clean and well used. It definitely needed some attention. Also, they advertised... More

The Lodge is very beautiful and interesting! From the moment we walked into the lobby with the beautiful fireplace, wood carved Grizzly and stuffed buffalo and mountain goat, we knew we were in for a treat! The staff was very accommodating of our needs and went out of their way to be helpful. The coffee was wonderful in the lobby... More

My husband and I recently hosted a family reunion at Palmer Gulch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We used the Palmer Hall for gatherings in the morning and evening-not fancy but rustic (it fit the setting). There are so many things to do, for all ages. The location is great for visiting nearby attractions. We loved the coffee... More

My family (a senior, two adults, two teenagers, and a toddler) rented Cabins 21 and 22, a cabin duplex, for a family reunion. We stayed two nights. The good: The location is great, the view is wonderful, and the kid-oriented amenities are awesome! It's obvious that families often use both cabins, because dishes and cookware are unevenly dispersed. One has... More

the dbl room was very small. there was not even a coffee maker in the room. very flat pillows and very few employees understood English. there were English muffins for continental breakfast but, no butter. we got sick from the hot-tub, which, did not smell right and then the jets did not work. we were in it long enough to... We had a great time at Palmer Gulch with the family. Our adult kids rented cabins in the KOA and we stayed at the resort. The pancake breakfast was a huge hit and I loved the gourmet coffee house. We did one night campfire and were able to buy everything we needed at the little store on the grounds. The... More
