We enjoyed our stay at the resort, overall a good experience. Really interesting history for this property, which was an abandoned mining slime plant. The remodeling job is wonderful. The staff here is the greatest asset, from the super helpful bellmen to the front desk and housekeeping staff. Our accessible room was very nice, really quiet, clean and comfortable. The... More

Stayed here the week before Sturgis and had a great time. The rooms are very clean and spacious with comfortable bed. Being your own pillow though. Ours were very tired and lumpy. The bathroom was amazing with a huge shower and good counter space. Walking distance to main st and all the shops and casinos. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here when visiting the a Black Hills region and loved it. Right by Main St in Deadwood, and close to all the major attractions in the region. Comfortable accommodations. We stayed in the Mountain Harmony room, which is enormous with a huge deck. Loved it! Very reasonable room service breakfast, and the staff was all wonderful. We did... More

This hotel is gorgeous! We were floored when we walked in. The bang for the buck is excellent and the room/bathroom were spacious. They had free Wi-Fi, the bed (albeit firm) was comfortable, the shower was huge, the staff was helpful and friendly. We had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs and the food was good. We would definitely stay here... More

Awesome Holiday Inn Resort. Love Deadwood Mountain Grand. Great music including Big and Rich, The Avett Brothers, casino and bars. The room was fantastic. The location is great looking into downtown Deadwood. Can't wait to go back to the Deadwood Mountain Grand!

I want to tell everyone who comes to Deadwood, SD that they need to stay at Deadwood Mountain Grand Hotel! First we got to Deadwood and our reservations were messed up! (It wasn't due to the hotel ) The manager (Travis Trautman) saw that we were having a problem with the people we did make a reservation with and immediately... More

We have been here a number of times and so far have never been disappointed from the shows to the café to the staff everything seems good. The last concert we saw there was Big and Rich, it was an awesome shoe , well worth driving 500 miles to see them.

Nice location and rooms are spacious. Swimming pool is fairly small, but adequate. View from the outdoor pool deck is very nice. Breakfast service is very slow. Seems very disorganized. Food is ok, and the staff is friendly, just very slow, even though both times we ate there it was not busy. Dinner service was better, but still not great.... More

Stayed here one night. Being in the hospitality business it was painful to watch the attention to detail missed here. Clocks in the room and fitness area were not set correctly. Our bathroom had no working fan, and the coffee pot was missing from the room. When we arrived I was promptly greated at the door by a man that... More

The only place in Deadwood to rock out and rest up -- Deadwood Mountain Grand, A Holiday Inn Resort -- is one of the area’s newest and most unique hotel properties, a resort experience that is sure to leave you longing for a return trip long after you return home.At the Deadwood Mountain Grand Hotel, Casino and Event Center, Perched on a hill overlooking Historic Deadwood and featuring GRAND views, the 98-room luxury hotel is a wonderful addition to the recently refurbished adjoining Homestake Mine Slime Plant, one of Deadwood’s most unique historic landmarks, now home to Deadwood’s only large-scale event center and casino. Combined, the three (hotel, event center and casino) provide a resort mix unparalleled by any other. Our three executive king rooms, along with our five king suites deliver the most breath taking views in town. Seven of these eight well-appointed rooms feature spectacular views from their private balconies, including that of Mount Moriah Cemetery (the final resting place of Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane and other legends of the Wild West) and Historic Deadwood.
