3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013 NEW

Recently stayed for one night, it is quite a compact hotel however this doesn't really matter for one or two nights. The pool and gym (which is very basic) are located in the basement, no natural light however you can't be too picky in Deadwood. There are no laundry facilities although this is also a minor consideration. The room was... More

On my way back down south to North Dakota I decided to stay in Deadwood rather than Spearfish (adds an extra 30 mins to my 10 hr+ drive). I am glad I did this Hampton Inn is tucked into northern end of main street connected to its own casino. The hotel itself is quite small but very clean and friendly,... More

We had a great weekend in Deadwood. We had upgraded to the jacuzzi suite and though it was lovely, the price was a little extreme for the suite. Our friends stayed in the normal rooms and those were quite nice. The free breakfast was awesome!!! Definitely will have this as an option in our book of hotels for Deadwood.

Stayed two nights over Easter weekend. The room was a large suite with a Jacuzzi tub. Very nice. The hotel is showing a little age here and there, but overall is pretty good. Doors are a tad noisy when they are shut. Breakfast is typical free hotel type. Nothing fancy but it's free. The hotel is only a couple blocks from... More

This hotel is a nice and clean hotel. I found the front desk staff to be a little less than friendly, and not the "Hampton": quality. Great location as well. Parking was unique. There is a lot about a half a block down that you have to park in and its more or less a gravel lot. Overall a great... More

I thought I got a room for one....but, to my surprise, a few other critters also joined me throughout the night. hint hint... Also, the five bucks for the Valet is worth it because THERE IS NO PARKING!

When we checked into the hotel it was around 1130 am and we had zero trouble checking in that early. The parking was right across the street so that was very nice and close compared to having to use the parking garage halfway up the strip. There are great food options in the lower level gaming area, ( they even... More

We spent a week in Deadwood in September 2012. The Hampton Inn is in a perfect place, has complimentary parking and a wonderful breakfast room. The Hotel is on the main street in Deadwood at one end. Walk up oneside of the street and down the other and you are back at your hotel. Rooms were very clean, and all... More

We spent 3 days over Thanksgiving Everything was excellent. There were 5 in three rooms. Rooms were spotless. Breakfast was satisfactory, nothing special but included in price. Parking is tight but that's Deadwood. Used valet last night and would recommend it. $5 a day. Pool and exercise area was clean. Overall a great stay. Now the Slots were another issue... More
