This is a great campground! The sites are treed and many have a stream flowing past. It is clean, friendly and has a restaurant and store as well. There is even a small swimming pool and cute cabins. Stayed here for a Sisters on the Fly event, we had the whole camp. They were wonderful hosts.

When you plan your trip to South Dakota Fish N Fry is a must stay at campground. Has the friendliest owners and staff. You can catch your dinner, and they will even prepare it for you. There are miles and miles of ATV trails close by. After your day on the trails enjoy the pool. Nearly every National Park in... More

We had a large group that stayed at the Fish N Fry for 4 nights last week. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay - or a nicer bunch of people. Gary and Michele and all of their staff were so gracious and helpful. It was a sad day when Sunday came and we all had to... More

I stayed here four nights. Everything is so clean and well kept. The river is so relaxing to sit by and enjoy. Folks are very friendly and helpful. They served us a very nice breakfast each morning. The last evening they served a fantastic fresh fish fry! I'm quite sure we will return for another stay. It was good to... More

The Fish N' Fry is a quiet, relaxing, friendly, and comfortable campground. We were here during the Sturgis 75th and this was the first time in about 15 years I'd been camping...We were able to get one of the campers and it was just perfect for us! The staff is super friendly and so very helpful...They truly made us feel... More

I am torn about this campground. We were in a 30' Class A RV and we did okay in a back-in site. I didn't see any pull-through sites so I would hate to have a longer rig and try to get around the cramped loops. There is a small creek running through the campground and it is nestled in the... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide a review. We are glad you chose to stay with us, but sorry that you found us "not to be big rig friendly". We have many big rig friendly sites in the park and we regularly host everyone from tents to Prevosts (including Eric Church's band and Kate + 8's... More

My daughter, granddaughter and myself went tent camping just after the 4th of July weekend. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff and put up our tent right next to the stream. It was beautiful and very close to Deadwood and Lead. We had a great time there, but something unexpected happened. We were in Deadwood one night when... More

First time tent camping was made easy at Fish n Fry. The owners and crew were great. They found us a spot on Friday nite and we stayed for the whole week. Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the stream rushing next to us is so relaxing. Loved the ducks that made their rounds at the... More

Fish n Fry is a quaint, comfortable and friendly campground. We were totally amazed by the actual Fish n Fry concept. Catch your trout , have it cleaned and fried, and eat right there. The gang running the place are as good as you'll ever get. The location to Deadwood/Lead is a stone's throw. (Very convenient!!!) Treat yourself to this... More
