I went there on my Birthday in Oct of 2014. Very nice slots, some I like and some I don't care for. It had a very nice restaurant. I give 4 out of 5 and I would rate it 5 if they had slots like Catch a Wave and Texas Tea

Our family of six enjoyed our 2 night stay! We stayed in the king suite with a full bath, large tub and a second half bath. Two gas fireplaces, and a small kitchenette were also a bonus. Our oldest child-12 did become a little bored with the pool area after a couple hours, but our younger three kids 6,7,&9 absolutely... More

Wd enjoyed our 2 days in Deadwood- The Lodge was great- friendly staff snd shuttle service to downtown. We ate at both restaurants and even had room service- all were very good. My husband enjoyed his daily breakfast and I enjoyed the Starbucks coffee!

Top notch hotel handy to the interstate. Not handy to downtown but that was an easy fix. There's a $5 parking garage downtown that took us about 3 minutes to drive to. Loved the newer rooms and facilities. Casino & restaurants were very nice. Great bowl of Irish oats for breakfast (not included in room price).

Had the pleasure of spending three wonderful nights at the Lodge. Room was large and well furnished. Staff was friendly and efficient. Casino, sports bar and nice restaurant are attached. Indoor pool and spa are great for the kids as well as the adults.

Overall a nice hotel, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, free coffee... but breakfast not included. OK for a one night stay. Close to the center but not in the middle of it, quality facilities, close to the Black Hills so convenient for visiting the area.

The Lodge is very nice. Great room, good food, challenging casino, and wonderful pool that the kids loved. You can take a shuttle to old Deadwood, walk to the Buffalo Sculpture across the street and learn about the Ute Indians, or drive/walk to Roosevelts Friendship Tower for great views of the Black Hills. Only negative is one small slow elevator.

We were shocked at the quality of this hotel, especially given the inflated cost during bike week. The quality is equal to an older Holiday Inn. The staff is very friendly but have the unfortunate task of making guests happy with a management team that either doesn't train them, or simply doesn't care. Housekeeping is worse than anywhere I've ever... More

We were greatly surprised when we went to check it out. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed drinks and dinner on two occasions. Prices were fair and prompt service made it very enjoyable. We will definitely share this with friends.

Love this hotel. It's gorgeous. The area is beautiful and filled with history. The 'but' comes from playing video poker at the bar. The waitress's gossip incessantly, it wouldn't be a big deal but those machines are hard to find. Don't let it stop you though!
