Clean bathrooms. The women's' had three stools, three sinks and 6 showers. I never had to wait for any of them. Did laundry ($2 wash, 75c dry);three washers and three dryers. Small game room and store. Free WiFi and Verizon phone booster in campground. We didn't have any Sprint of Virgin service in the Black Hills. Small campground Many sites... More

This campground is one of the best I have stayed at. The staff is extra friendly and the bathrooms are immaculately clean. We had a private little deck with a swing on it overlooking the stream through the campground. There is a really nice playground that the kids loved playing on and they also have a small game room. It... More

Hidden Valley Campground is going to be a yearly tradition for us. We stayed in one of the sites sleeping cabins and were pleasantly surprised with a small fridge and Microwave. The grounds are beautiful, each night we fell asleep listening to the sound of the creek. Words cannot do this place justice. Bathrooms/showers are immaculate- all the comforts of... More

My wife and I stayed at Hidden Valley during our motorcycle/camping trip and were very impressed, to say the least! The entire campground was exceptionally clean and well-kept. I've never seen a bathhouse so immaculately clean. All the equipment was in excellent condition as far as we could tell. We did not use the laundry facilities or game room but... More

Hidden Valley is one of the best campgrounds we've stayed at. You'll find level gravel sites with healthy grass and shade trees around and in-between sites. A pretty stream runs through the campground and its relaxing sound is pleasant at bedtime. Bathrooms are pristine clean, spacious and modern - better than we've had at upscale hotels. There's a nice playground... More

Gravel drive and parking areas with grass around the sites and trees. Some sites have decks with porch swings over the small stream that runs through them middle of the campground. Bathrooms with showers were spotless. Lots of nice touches like old tree trunks turned into chain saw carvings, and bridges over the stream. Some snow and deer in the... More

A group of four of us stayed at the Steel Wheel Campground during a recent hunting trip. Jason, Leah, and the entire staff at the campground, restaurant, and convenience store were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in two cabins and they were perfect for our purpose. Bed is more comfortable then mine at home! Satellite TV worked great and... More

My husband and were out of tent camping practice. I remembered tent sites as larger and with some separation. This was a space with a picnic table and fire ring. Things were slow, but if the campground had been full we would have been tent peg to tent peg close., We had to chase down the desk clerk, and were... More

Of all the campgrounds I’ve ever stayed in, this one was the best experience by far. The facilities are immaculate – the bathrooms are the cleanest I’ve ever seen at any campground anywhere! The laundry/game room is functional and tidy. The grass is cut, all the campsites look well kept, and each site has a fire ring. I did not... More
