Waitress needed to be reminded to remove salad plates prior to serving main course and reminded to clean off main course before serving dessert. Also water and drinks had to be asked for. Floor in restaurant was dirty with food items. Staff seemed to be unorganized and inept. Room 119 was noisy during the night because of water noise in... more

We stayed on September 19th, the door man was very nice, but can't say much for the room. We were woke up at 2:00 a.m. with the person above us walking around and using the shower, the wall vibrated with noise and I mean a lot of noise. The bath room also had "someones" underware and t shirt in it....!!!!!... more

We were on the second floor. The room above us had a buffalo stampede with woolly mamoths coming to life. At least that's what it sounded like whenever the guests above us walked or moved, or breathed. The Victorian-era hotels in Deadwood are much quieter and peaceful. The staff at the Mineral Palace was indifferent at best, but mostly just... more

We went to Deadwood (Get a Way bus tour) and stayed at the Mineral Palace for 4 days/3 nights (October 6-9). The nonsmoking room was recently renovated, clean and comfortable with two queen size beds, nice furnishings and large bathroom. We had buffet breakfasts ($1) in the morning and a coupon for the Gem Steak House. Prime Rib and Chicken... more

My husband and I motorcycled to Deadwood over the 4th of July instead of Sturgis week. We booked a suite with balcony in the new addition of Mineral Palace. They have a small area of covered parking for guests only. We arrived a little before check in time and the staff cleaned our room 1st so we could check in... more

My husband and I stayed at the Mineral Palace Hotel earlier this month. We anticipated staying for two nights but only stayed for one. The non-smoking room was nice, but the entire building smells smoky due to the casino so our room also had the smell of cigarettes. We have very little interest in gambling so one night at the... more

Stayed here for three nights as part of a tour group and had a great time! Room was clean and spacious with two queen size beds. Bathroom was huge and towels plentiful. Free in-room safe. Had a TV but didn't watch it much...was always in the casino! Housekeeping was friendly, but not really thorough on day to day cleaning. Maybe... more

We visited Deadwood in September 2004. We stayed at the Mineral Palace and it was very nice. The people were real friendly but, the parking was terrrible. We are planning on going back and staying a whole week. A Tripadvisor member, Sutherlin, Va. more
