I had read all of the reviews and decided this would be an above average choice experience. I paid $62 for a suite, which is a good value due to being VERY off season. The whole hotel seemed to be almost shut down. Check in was very efficient and friendly. The room was a standard "suite" for choice properties. The only issue I had was that although the entire hotel seemed empty, the whole thing smelled of smoke. From check-in, through the smokey casino, to the breakfast in the morning, you smelled like a bar when you left your room. Even at 6am in the morning, you had to run the gauntlet of workers who were near the breakfast entrance who had their cigs fired up. Smelled like a bar when you got back to the room. Also, breakfast is very ordinary, nothing hot, just the norm. Dont know whether I would stay here again or not, maybe in the summer it is different, but the whole thing seemed a little deserted and "creepy". more
