What a terrible experience. Here's a list of reasons I'll never stay again: mold in shower, unable to control heat setting, there was no one at the front desk all night, beds are hard, sheets are so old they're see through, pillows are flat, only 1 electrical outlet worked in this tiny room, ceiling was falling down, broken vending, so... Nice place, but very outdated. Friendly staff, nice small pool area. Bed bugs were bad as the old spiderwebs in each room. My reservations were never received, but good thing there was an open room. Not a big breakfast, just cereal, toast, bagels.

I have been staying at the Black Hills inn for over 10 years now. No need to expect a 4 star rating for this place. The rooms are clean, no smoking, no bad smoke smells. They do allow pets. Joe (owner) is a real nice guy, has a simple morning breakfast each morning at 7AM. The breakfast area is always... More

Dirty rooms, shower is like an RV shower, ice from ice machine is a cup of ice, the jacuzzi that is on the sign is only during limited time periods, the woman who check us in was very nice, but the male employee that was there for check out time, flipped out when we asked for a comment card to... We stayed here during Kool Deadwood Nites. Poor customer service from the guy who registered us. The wash clothes were so thin they probably bought them 12 for a buck. Comfortable bed. Filthy windows and window sills. Nice view.

We were riding our motorcycle through this area and stayed here based on other reviews. As previous reviews state, the room was clean and reasonably priced for the area. The bathroom was small, with the sink being located in the sleeping area. Cons: no coffee pot, microwave, or refrigerator in the room and breakfast/coffee was not available until 7:00 a.m.... More

My boyfriend and I rode the Harley up to the Black hills for the 4th of July weekend from Colo. The room was very clean that included the bed, the sheets, the bathroom and the towels. The AC worked just fine and cooled the room down quickly. The pool was small but kid friendly and the hot tub was hot... More

We stayed with a small group of friends on St. Patrick's day weekend for a few days of sight-seeing and touring Deadwood. All of our friends that we were with stay here several times a year for snowmobiling and motorcycle trips. This hotel is very "basic" with simple, clean, comfortable accommodations. The pool and hot tub area was open during... More

This hotel is not too bad for the price, however you could probably go down the street and spend a few dollars more and get something much better. We had 2 adults and 2 children. We thought a room with 2 queen size beds would be larger. We ended up with 2 full size beds and we were very cramped.... More

Rooms was small and sparsely furnished (no fridge or microwave), but clean. Bed was held together with duct tape, the only ice machine on the property did not work, and when we called the front desk (using the alternate number because there was no-one manning the desk in the middle of the day) they told us they were "planning on...
