First - if you are booking via tripadvisor - beware. The operator for our booking promised things that were completely untrue. This hotel - unless you are a super walker is not w/in walking distance of the main strip. If you ask for the room that backs to the creek and they say "OH Yes - we can definitely do... More

This motel style hotel is situated a little way out of Deadwood a shuttle trolley service is available into the town running every 30 minutes. The rooms are of a good size with two double beds with good quality bedding and a reasonable bathroom facility. As the hotel name implies there is a casino style entrance on the ground floor... More

We stayed here for one night on our coach trip - the rooms were large and clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant service was good and the food was OK and the breakfast service was excellent, even with a coach party all wanting to be served at the same time. It has a little gift shop... More

We stayed at the Deadwood Gulch for two nights, primarily chose the location because we were starting in Deadwood in riding the Mickelson trail. The trail runs adjacent to the parking lot. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though you can tell at one point smoking was allowed. The restaurant was good and the free breakfast each morning was really... More

This is the smallest hotel-casino resort I have been but dies not lack for friendliness. The casino is small enough that the bartender is also the floor waitress. There is only one black jack table (no other table games and maybe 100 or so slot machines (and no video poker)....so if you really want to gamble go elsewhere. The small... More

We made reservations based on Trip Advisor. Requested Creek side as suggested- this was to be the highlight for me on our two week Midwest trip. Yellowstone had been too packed to get in so we ended up arriving June 12 - Thursday. Although the room that was reserved for us was not available one night ahead...they were able to... More

We stayed for 7 nights during the Sturgis Mustang Rally. Check in was fast & friendly, our room was on the second floor over looking the parking lot and was quiet. The room was your standard double queen and very clean. It even had a small rubber ducky in the bathroom that you can take home. There is a small... More

My husband and I ended our Bucket List trip of seeing Mt. Rushmore and area at Deadwood SD. The Gaming Resort had very clean rooms and we had a great time at the casino. The front desk was very nice. We were given breakfast passes for a restaurant located next door to the resort.

Love the Gulch they have the friendliest and most helpful staff, clean rooms & casino, excellent food & bakery, love the sunflower bread. There is a trolley that runs every half hour to many stops downtown, so once there no need to drive. We have been coming for nine years & will be going back for sure.

We have stayed at Deadwood Gulch many times. It's our favorite place to stay. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly, gaming is fun, and the food is great. We will definitely be staying here again. We love the coupons for food, gambling money, percent off in the gift shop, and off the room.
