The Cedar Wood Inn at Deadwood, South Dakota, was a true great find for my wife and I. We were pleasantly greeted by the manager when we turned into the driveway. The landscaping of the Cedar Wood Inn was in it self a beautiful sight for my wife and I. The Inn provides a great continental breakfast to get you started... More

This motel was situated right off a busy road on the edge of Deadwood. The trolley made regular stops so that was convenient and the parking was near the rooms. The rooms themselves were spacious and clean, however, they smelled musty and we used half a bottle of Fabreze during our stay. Our first night was in a modular! No... More

Audrey and I are a bit surprised that your stay was less than you expected, We take great pride in our motel and do everything we can to make our guests stay as pleasant as possible. You inspected the room and then booked the room for several days and we cannot figure out why you had not mentioned your concerns.... More

The motel sits on the edge of Deadwood near Leads. The motel is an older motel, but it is very well maintained and very clean. The lawn is well manicured and landscaped is nicely done. The beds are comfortable, the carpet is nice, flat screen tv, and a good sized room. The air conditioning is a window unit in the... More

we hadn't stayed here before but circumstances lead us to this motel, and we were very happy we chose it. in fact, we stayed an extra day just because we were so comfortable here. our motorcycles were right outside our door. we were very close to downtown - a nice walk to and from. and the people that run the... I was in town for a couple of days to run the Mickelson Trail Marathon. Runners: The Marathon ends less than a quarter mile away from the motel. You'll be able to walk to your room after you finish, a big plus for me when choosing where to stay on race weekends. The motel is certainly quaint and well manicured... More

This gem of a motel is located just outside of the main attractions of Deadwood. Quaint and cozy and very romantic setting. You know that the owners take pride in their establishment. Great price worth every penny. It's location doesn't matter because there is a trolley system that will get you where you want to go!! Stay here and use... More

We planned on staying in Deadwood when we planned our 9 day vacation, but we winged it as for booking any hotels rooms as it was off season. When we came to Deadwood we stopped at the visitor center for information, and ask any recommendation where to stay. the lady said Cedar Wood Inn. So we went to check it... More

I found this by a stroke of luck! I needed another place to stay, pet friendly and motel style. I did not realize it was a pet free motel till I spoke to the owner. After a short friendly chat Audrey said she has made exceptions in the pass and she did have a room available. I picked up the... More

While passing through Deadwood I decided to stop for the night. All the hotels on the main strip were booked. But I was lucky enough to find The Cedar Wood Inn, which as it turned out I couldn't have been happier. The owners are very friendly and very willing to give you suggestions on what to see and where to... More

We were in Deadwood on Valentines Day weekend. Cedar Wood Inn room rate was less than half of many places I checked. It's a little off the beaten path....but we liked that. The trolley stops right out in front. The room wasn't huge, but was everything we needed and, I cannot emphasize enough how CLEAN it was. We very much... More
