While passing through from Yellowstone we stayed one night in August, 2009 and found friendly people and a nice clean room. The furniture and fixtures were certainly not up-scale and not brand spankin' new but everything was clean and well maintained. We found the continental breakfast to be more than expected for what we paid. It's a bit off the... more

I stayed here after Interstate 90 was closed and I was stuck in Chamberlain for a night. Room was clean and warm, but the door connecting to the neighboring room was initially unlocked and was so thin I could clearly hear conversations. Staff was friendly but hard to find at times. Internet is a bit slow and is not wireless,... more

We stayed at this motel on our way across country. Called late the same night and was given a walk in rate of $66+tax. Have always had good luck with the Best Western brand but this was one of the worst ever. It was way below our lowest expectations. We pulled back the sheets and much to our horror and... more

Our room was spotless, comfortable and quiet--and at a good price. Nice to have a recliner in the room! The bathroom fixtures were clearly vintage but also clean so no problems! Staff was helpful with questions and they had ethernet cables available (free with deposit) for their internet access, which was not wireless-- more

It may be a bit off the beaten path, but it definitely worked out for us. Three friends and I were on our way back from a two week road trip and happened upon this place at a little after midnight. While nobody was at the desk (posted desk hours were until 11:30), the lobby lights and a sign on... more

Best Western Lee's Motor Inn is clean and inexpensive. The layout is a bit different, with the pool across the parking lot from the motel. The room was very clean and the bed quite comfortable. It is a rather basic property, but very clean and very friendly. For an overnight stop heading cross-country, this is a very good place to... more

On the way to the Badlands, Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore was looking for a motel in Chamberlain. We saw some motels at the last exit before the river (wonderful view!), but were pricey for the looks. A billboard for Lee's pointing toward town. Very charming small town; found Lee's on the old highway almost at the foot of the... more

Great place to stay that is inexpensive. The last reviewer didn't have such a great experience. We stay here at least once a year and I can tell you we never have found any bugs in our room. It does get a lot of people enjoying the Missouri River since it's about 2 blocks away. Maybe the bug came in... more

On Monday, August 20, 2007 we stayed for one night at this horrible place. As a Best Western Gold Crown member, I had booked a reservation about six weeks earlier. We were on a leisurely trip to the Badlands and the Black Hills, and rather than racing through South Dakota, we had decided to stay overnight in Chamberlain. The hotel... more

This was an overnight stay on a trip back from Pine Ridge, SD to Becker, MN. We got to the hotel and I really like how it situated right next to an amazing bridge over the Missouri River, which is a breathtaking view itself. I was thinking that this would be just another old hotel, nothing special, however when I... more
