I have this a 2 rating because it completely misses the value proposition put forth on the website. It speaks of yoga, Pilates, and group rides. None of those items were available or offered. To be fair, the restaurant was on the pricey side, but very good and quality food. Ben the hotel manager was also very nice and as... More

Thank you for coming to visit us last weekend. My sincerest apologies that we did not meeting your expectations. I know that we had planned some great rides for you but the weekend ended up a washout for your training rides and schedule of massages. We strive to accommodate all of our guests needs, cyclists and leisure guests, and we... More

Great property. Terrific rooms and very special cycling options. the hotel staff is friendly and engaged. Everyone is geared towards making your stay very special. The restaurant offers a really great menu, good wine and a good atmosphere. The back end crew is top notch with inventive combinations and great taste results. The hotel is incredibly nice, but very comfortable. The décor is impeccable, the restaurant and food are amazing, the pool, the rooms, the beds & furnishings, the BMC bike rental, the complimentary wines, drinks and snacks, that perfect shower, etc etc etc. Its all there and all very well done. I travel over 250 nights per year and stay in... More

We had a fantastic experience at Hotel Domestique. My husband, two sons and I stayed here for one night. The room was luxurious. The bathroom was huge and beautiful. The decor of the hotel is European with a modern touch. We felt like we were in Tuscany. My husband and son rented BMC bikes even though they had their own.... More

I read about Hotel Domestique in both cycling and travel magazines. It opened just 8 months ago. Co-owned by the great American cyclist George Hincapie, it offers premium accommodation and food in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Excellent bicycles are available for riding and massages and yoga can be arranged upon request. It is a beautiful property and relates to... More

Having lodged at luxury hotels worldwide, we have never enjoyed an experience quite like Hotel Domestique. Fabulous attention to detail, serenity, and romance. Highly suggest staying here if you wish to be nestled into the mountains, having access 24/7 to your own expresso machine (biscotti, sodas, snacks too), enjoy quality food & wine at reasonable prices, and love to read... We stayed at the hotel for four nights in April. The design of the hotel is fantastic--it is really gorgeous and luxe. This is truly a boutique experience. The desserts left bedside were delicious, and the wine (and snacks) in the pantry were appreciated. We were looking for a spot that was a flight away (and a reasonable drive from... More

I just stayed here for two nights as part of a cycling group. As a hotel, the rooms were comfortable, large, and very well designed. Each one has a name of a French area (mine was Madeline), and was huge for me, a single traveler, and the bathroom was one of the most spacious i've ever stayed in (are you... More

Hotel Domestique is a great new addition to the list of to-do destinations for any serious cyclist. The property and staff are very attentive, and the food is particularly outstanding under the guidance of Chef Adam. This hotel is intended to deliver a european feel and taste and does so in abundance. Our experience was beyond our expectations, especially as... More

The staff was extremely friendly and tried to accommodate requests however many were unmet. The building is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, there are some very nice touches (e.g. complimentary espresso and wine in the pantry, amazing complementary breakfast). The location is perfect for cycling, great riding. The things we missed and were disappointed about: no hot tub on the... More
