I had to stay here while deployed to Shaw AFB and it was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There was a 1 1/2 gap between the door and the floor. There was construction on both sides of my room. There was paint on the television and the showers were dirty and sprayed everywhere. I would... more

I've stayed at the Sumter Best Western twice. The staff there rotate to and from the Sumter Day's Inn which has the same manager. Best Western is in an ideal location. It's right in the heart of Sumter. The mall, Jessamine, is across the street. McDonald's is right next door; Red Lobster, Bojangles and KFC are a few feet away.... more

My mother and I were in Sumter for the weekend to attend a wedding. I found the Best Western Sumter Inn online and booked it because of the price (mistake #1). The location was great. It was located directly across the street from Jessmine Mall and there numberous restaurants (Red Lobster, McDonald's, Apple Bee's, T.G.I. Friday,.etc.). During check in there... more
