Priceline said ONE STAR. Expedia said TWO. Compared to... the nearby animal shelter? King bed, 3 pillows, paint dingy, plastic bricks on the wall, bouncy bed, muggy inside, sounded like it was sitting ON the highway. Curtains didn't seal on the side, and combined with a poorly placed mirror, peeping Toms would have a field day. Arrived to a full... More

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years- both for the value, the staff, and have found the room to be comfortable for the price. This year there has definitely been a decline in cleanliness and upkeep. The grounds were littered and poorly kept. There were odors everywhere from the lobby, the elevator, and the... More

We recently stayed at the Econo Lodge in Summerville. The first room we were given had a very strange smell. I wasn't sure if it was cigarette smoke or something else. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room. We actually went to Wal-MArt and bought Febreze and an odor eliminator to try and help. The room was dingy and... More

Stayed here to attend a 50th anniversary. Had our motorhome and since our dog is more than 30 pounds we could not bring her into the hotel. we were able to park the motorhome and leave our dog. Okay place but needs renovation. Did not eat breakfast because we joined family at the cracker barrel next store. their are a... More

We were late in booking a room on an unbelievably busy event weekend in Charleston -- 3 national, state, and local events were taking place and a friend of mine said, "You do realize what weekend you are going to Charleston, don't you" Well, I didn't. She said you better start looking for a place to stay (it was 2... More

Making reservations was easy, however the price to stay to rest your head for the night was excessive for $92. The non-smoking room had an odor. The bathroom was not very clean. It had hair in tub, by toilet and on folded towels, which turned me off completely.

We stopped the night here till we could find a camp ground in the area to my findings this motel was clean and friendly the rooms could use a little sprucing up but other than that it was a pleasant stay. We ended up staying 2 nights.

The staff was friendly and made check in and check out easy. The rooms are old, a little worn but were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic continental. Just off I-26 with plenty of restaurant's within walking distance. Truck parking, but short spots so you have to un-hook from trailer and park alongside. Will stay here again.

Have stayed at this Econo Lodge once before about 4 years ago. Condition of the rooms doesn't seem to have changed much, but considering the cost of the room per night, I couldn't expect great quality. Room was mostly clean (carpet could use a thorough cleaning) and the furnishings were obviously used. Tub faucet leaks. Room cleaning crews need to... More
