It's really the proprietors who make a bed and breakfast what it is, and you couldn't ask for better than Dianne (and Ken, who I only met just before leaving). They made the place feel like home for two short days, from their two stupendously friendly Labrador Retrievers running to greet us as we came down the driveway to the... more

We needed to stay in Summerville for only one night to attend a funeral. Instead of booking one of the chain hotels we decided to stay at the Pink Dolphin. What a delightful experience it was! Our room was cozy and comfortable, just perfect. Dianne was helpful and welcoming. She had a pot of coffee waiting for us when we... more

If you're looking for a bed and breakfast to stay with a five star rating look no further. The people owning this charming B&B in Summerville, SC know the true meaning of Southern Hospitality. Dianne and Ken go above and beyond making their guests feel comfortable. We highly recommend this charming bed and breakfast including the surrounding area. Humphrey &... more

What more can you ask for.!! The house is historic and a happy pink. The room we stayed in was the Carolina room. It had a wrought iron canopy bed draped with romantic shear drapes, a lovely bathroom with a double tub and most importantly a wonderful home cooked FULL breakfast. Our innkeeper Diane has a wonderful personality and is... more

It was our first trip out of town together and I was looking for something cozy like home and thought we should try a B&B and it would be another first for us. I found the coziness and affordability I was looking for at the Pink Dolphin. We had the Blue Mini Suite on our first night. My boyfriend still... more

This B&B is two short blocks from the main street of Historic Summerville. It is a very short drive to the beautiful MIddleton Place Plantation. And, it was only 10-15 minutes off of hectic I-95...well worth the effort on our trip down to Florida. I really do not know where to start, there were so many things we liked about... more

I was looking at staying at a bed and breakfast for my fiances birthday, but with a tight budget it was hard to find anything in my range. I had stayed previously at the Two Meeting St Inn downtown, which was nice, but too pricey to go with during this tough economy. I remember driving by the Pink Dolphin many... more

The room was wonderful. We chose to have the room with a separate entrance, and stayed in town for new years eve and day. Dianne brought us champagne that evening and then brought coffee to us in the morning. the breakfast was scrumptious. I would and do recommend the Pink dolphin to anyone who will listen. more

Their location in Summerville is in close proximity to Charleston, but without the hustle and bustle of the larger city. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and welcoming, and they were even dog friendly! (We've found that this is a rare commodity, especially in the B&B realm.) The "Pink Room" was very reasonably priced and comfortably appointed, with a plush mattress,... more
