Hotel is in high crime area. Walked around block and spoke to firemen at station who told us to keep doors locked and don't go out at night. This hotel is terrible and disgusting. The curtains were torn from top to bottom and were held together with safety pins. The doors, walls, and carpet were covered in stains. I stayed at Days Inn Spartanburg Downtown. I had pleasant time at Days Inn. I travel mostly everywhere and that was a one of the decent place to stay. Absolutely the bottom of the barrel. Just disgusting. Cigarette holes in the bedspread, stained & burned lampshades and not a bulb in the room was over 25 watts. Dark, depressing and disgusting. I can't say one thing good about this place. more
