Nov 29, 2009 | Trip type: Friends getaway

This is a small hotel and fills up quickly. I stayed here with some friends from out of town who were travelling and passing through, and they liked it so much, they made a special stop on their way from Charleston to Atlanta to stay again. They told me it was the best sleep they'd had the whole time they'd... more

Had reservation for king, but bed was queen. No fridge or microwave in room. Simple decor. Horribly slow wireless - carrier pigeon is faster. Front desk was very friendly and prompt. Small dressing/sink area. Tub recent redo and not badly. more

Selected this hotel since it was close to the location for my business meeting. Checked in at 8:00PM and the girl behind the counter kept socializing with a guy. Finally got key etc. Room seemed OK. Bed was uncomfortable seemed old. No toilet paper! Towels and wash cloths were thin as paper. I am a light sleeper and could hear... more

The room was circa 1972...it was clean but the color scheme is enough to make me pay double for another hotel. The room was big enough and clean enough but I did have a few problems. The curtains were not made to close at night and I had a streetlight just outside my window. The carpet in my room had... more

We checked into this hotel around 3 in the afternoon. The area did not seem the best, and I was not sure if I had made the best choice. The hotel was deserted, no other guests were around. It did not feel safe at all. There were two ladies at the front desk. they were talking loudly to two male... more

I frequent Marriott properties often because I know what to expect. After one night at this Fairfield I will no longer assume a hotel is clean and comfortable just because it is a Marriott. The room and hallways were dark and dirty. The light in the bathroom was so dim, I showered in the dark! The bedding was old and... more

This location is great for quite travelers. We were first issued a room that was checked off as being clean, but it was not. We notified the front desk and within 5 minutes we were placed in a clean room. The hotel was booked by dark, but you could not tell because the quest and staff were courteous of other... more

I stay in a lot of Fairfields. This is not one of the best, but it is acceptable. My room was clean and quite large by hotel standards. But it was dark. Probably because of the dark carpet. I had to turn on evey light. All of the rooms have a window type air/heat unit. Which can be load for... more

Stayed on 2/18/07. While hotel is older, it was in very clean condition. Beds were acceptable. Breakfast was average. Not in a very attractive location. Overall it was a good value for the $62 rate+taxes. Would stay again. more
