Beautiful island, very clean. Easy to rent a great place and to get checked in. Accommodations via Coastal Getaways was fantastic! If you are looking for a place to completely unwind--to the point that you really can't do much else, this is your place! If you have any kids that are just beyond the "spend all vacation in the pool"... More

We spent 3 nights in a Pelican Watch villa at Seabrook in August. We rented a beautiful, renovated 2 story villa with 3 bedrooms and a brand new kitchen. The views were nice - but not RIGHT on the beach - but rather a stroll down a boardwalk. The villa came with a Seabrook amenity card and we enjoyed the... More

Seabrook island is beautiful. All the houses are spectacular and well manicured. The island makes you feel like you are in a Nicholas Sparks book. We loved the moss covered trees and all of the wild life. The people are all very friendly and you feel very safe. We ate at Red's ice house, Amy's Italian restaurant, the pizza place... More

We visited with our girls over spring break and it was a great getaway. The island is very developed but has a lovely mix of wildlife, trails and wet lands. We went on a trail ride through the equestrian center which was breathtaking as we saw turtles, alligator, eagles, egrets and many other species as we walked on horseback through... More

This is a peaceful island that is just how you would imagine in the south - covered by live oak trees and Spanish moss and lots of wildlife. My ideal trip to SBI with the family includes: biking around the island and beach, watching the dolphins swim, sitting on the beach at sunset, and cocktails at the pool. We rent... More

Do you ever have a place that as soon as you arrive the stress and worry drain from your body and you are at peace? Well that is Seabrook for my family. We have stayed all over the island and have found we like the private home rentals on North Beach the most. The pool house is great with two... More

If you really want to relax, enjoy the weather, family, friends, and life, than this is the place for you. The island is so perfect. The beaches are wide and long, perfect for walks, as well as swimming in the later afternoon. Pools are nice but crowded during high season, so keep that in mind. The Pelicans nest is club... More

We stayed in the Pelican Watch condos and had a wonderful time. At first we were taken aback by the distance from Charleston but found after a couple of days we did not bother travelling in for dinner and cooked. There are a few good restaurants but just a few. We enjoyed just relaxing on the beach. The water was... More

We stayed at Pelican Watch Villas. These villas are perfectly suited for a relaxing stay at Seabrook. You are right on the Edisto River, which feels like the Atlantic as it is so vast and at the point where the river flows into the Atlantic. The tides are big at Seabrook (over 6 feet at times). So you need to... More

I have lived in NC most of my life, and thought I had visited every beach in the Carolinas worth visiting, but Seabrook is truly a unique gem! There are deer everywhere, and we ran into a few alligators too while riding our bikes. Renting a bike is a MUST on this beautiful island, so book those before you go... More
