I don't know how anyone could rate this motel poorly. The room was clean, the man at the front desk was friendly, and it was QUIET ! OK, it wasn't a Hampton Inn, but it was great bargain at the price. I would stay there again without hesitation. more

Everytime I visit Santee no matter the reason I stay at the travelodge. The staff is very friendly and they make me feel like I'm at home. I get the same room each visit, and the service is just excellent. more

Unbelieveably shabby rooms. The first room we were assigned was gross. There was a chemical odor in the room--perhaps paint? The bed comforters and light shades were a bizarre patterm of sleeping teddy bears- I guess it was the Travelodge bear mascot. The comforters and blankets on the beds had large holes. This place is the pits. I had the same problems as other travelers. Quoted one rate that charged higher rate, no explation of higher rate. No receipt only credit card receipt. Sink & toilet would not drain. Dirty hotel room! I would not stay here ever again. Good place for fisherman to drink beer and flop. more
