This had to be by far the worst hotel ever! The web page is not the same hotel you stay in. The lady at the front desk told me the rooms were very nice. Not at my standards. The minute I walked in I saw cockroaches in the corners and bathtub. The air conditioner was plugged in by an extention... More

We stayed at the Whitten Inn for 7 nights recently to participate in a series of bicycle rides in the area. The hotel is not new but it is reasonably clean and the breakfast is adequate. All of the staff seemed helpful and cheerful. Only caution is that there are a number of cats on the property. I wouldn't recommend... More

Stayed at this hotel a year ago and it was a good place for a quick sleep stop in route north. Clean, friendly staff w/ just enough to refresh & get back on the road. In a year, what could go so wrong? Place appeared to never have been cleaned since we left. "Stuff" under the bed & behind everything... More

Keep seeing the billboards advertising the Inn so we stopped there on our trip to Ct, Well it was a bad decision on my part. First off, I asked for a non-smoking room since my wife has bad sinus problems. When I handed over my Am- ex card I was told that they had just dropped Am- ex and they... More

We checked into our room and on my second trip to my truck for last bag I was greeted by 5 cats at my room door. I called the front desk and advised them and all I got was Oh Yeah we know sorry! I have dogs and they don't like cats so all night the dogs paced back and... More

You must correlate the price to the luxury expected. The place is older, but my room had been remodeled. Newer carpet, upholstery, comfortors, etc. It is indeed clean. If you are wanting toiletries like lotion included, go pay for them elsewhere. A motel is a place to sleep, so bring your own items, for those who complained. They have Dial... More

The rooms are a mess, beds should be put in dumpster and the sheets are I do not know from where. They do not stay on the bed. Theology was so packed with kids rough housing we could not use the pool. Oh ya, the tv went out because the satellite was unavailable. Overall, this place really sucks, take the... More

We decided to stay at the Whtten on our way back from Miami. We had saw the billboards on the drive down. The billboards were very endearing with showing a couple as the "Boss for her and him as the GM". The promised extra clean rooms, free breakfast, good nights rest and pet friendly. Beware of the Billboards. don't believe... More

We stayed here for an overnight stop on our way to Orlando. This is a basic motel. It was clean. It had poor tv reception and no toiletries. You can have them if you go down to the front desk. When I called to confirm the reservation since there was a limited check-in window to say we would arrive late,... More
