We needed to leave Florence , SC after determining the Sleep Inn in which we booked had 100+ motorcycles in the parking lot, many with no mufflers. We had to leave after 10:30 PM as the noise had not lessened. We drove over an hour and arrived near midnight at St George. We found the parking lot free of MC's... More

Every long distance traveler cherishes good "pit stop" properties, where you can check in quickly, get a quick dinner without fighting traffic, watch a little TV, charge up the laptop, and hit the hay...then feel refreshed the next morning. This hotel, located within a block of I-95, fills the bill nicely. Clean, well maintained, freshly painted exterior, comfortable bed, flat... More

Driving on I95, I could not stay awake any longer. Stopped in Saint George, SC, and just needed sleep and no amenities. This hotel was been renovated. Very helpful staff, incredibly comfortable bed, FRESH breakfast, new TV, good cable, good internet, and CLEAN. I have stayed in hotels three times this price and slept as well or better.

Stayed here on a return trip from Florida. Simple on and off I95. Huge comfortable bed. Heat was on as it was unusually cold. The entire building, outside, the lobby and our room had fresh paint and appeared to be upgrading at this time. Very quiet room. Nice breakfast in the lobby. Great coffee, major plus. Store and restaurants close.... More

Run by the Patel family, all of whom appeared to take pride in an active role in the day to day operation of this motel, including a small garden obviously well cared for. We had NO safety or security concerns. My wife and I and our beloved canine companion of 13+ years checked in on a Saturday evening without a... More

In the 50 dollar range, late night stop to get a little sleep and then get out. Dirty, dingy and smelly. Bathroom had bad nursing home smell if ya know what I mean. Course I don't sleep in bathroom, so made do. Bed was okay got about 76 hours sleep...spread towels(use that word liberally) on bathroom floor. Then got out.... More

We stopped here after a long day on the road. Check in was easy and the clerk friendly. That is the good part! While walking to the room, I noticed that the windows on all the rooms were filthy. We opened the door to our room and the smell hit you! This was a non smoking room, but it had... More

Arrived without a reservation. A very nice clerk said they didn't take the coupon I had from the SC Welcome Center since it was a Friday night, but that she would set me up with a room at a reasonable price. She did ($54.59 plus 6.46 tax with AARP). Since my 93-year old mother is using a walker, she put... More

I gave it one star---only because it was clean and safe which is good. Breakfast is a joke---small white donuts and colored hot water for coffee. Indian run so no money put back in the place. Right out of the 50's! CRT TV, old furniture, tile job in bath looked like a 15 year old did it. Put $20 more... More
