This is a convenient stop half-way on our trip along the East Coast. It is an older motel, but is clean, economical (especially with our AAA membership), and allows us to travel with our dog. Front desk staff is very friendly and efficient. Don't expect frills, but with a late arrival and early departure, it was a good choice.

The woman at the front desk was very nice. That made a huge difference. Offered me a wake-up call and called me "hon" which was nice after driving alone all day. Yes, it's your basic interstate motel and the area in general seemed a little dumpy, but there's a beautiful southern forest behind the hotel you can stand at and... More

A basic interstate motel. You get what you pay for. Indian family owned. Rooms dated and furniture ragged and needing replaced. Not clean enough to feel comfortable in, in my opinion. Obviously this motel in my opinion thrives on the one time interstate visitors that they will never see again, knowing people are tired and are ready to just get... More

Stayed here on my way to Florida. Was looking for a cheap place to spend the night halfway and thought this would be okay. Price was low but you get what you pay for. Room had microwave and fridge but no coffee maker or alarm clock, I've stayed in some real dumps that at least had a clock.Room was clean... More

We would have had a better nights sleep in a cleaner environment if we had slept in our car and used an outhouse!!! The bed was horrible, the facets in the shower encrusted with soap scum, holes in the carpet, dirty mirror and the rug filthy: my white socks were BLACK in 2 hours. I completed an online survey later... More

The day desk clerk was helpful, as she had to flight with our door to open it. Had to turn handle up and kick the door to open it. No hair dryer, no coffee in room. Bathroom flo or was sticky and shower was a problem. Stayed there last year and it was ok but not this year...

We have stayed here on 2 other occasions and were pleased but this time was a different story. We found a dirty tissue on the nightstand and a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door which left us skeptical about the overall cleanliness. The TV was outdated and shut itself off randomly and there was no remote... More

In the FIRST room we were given, sheets/bedding & bathroom were filthy. Hair on pillowcases, dirt/crumbs in bed. Found a "crack-pipe" (as the staff member called it) under the sheets!!! Informed staff. Took pictures.Second room we were offered had not been cleaned at all, either. Beds were stripped, with bedding piled on floor. Shower was running, and we thought someone... More
