We have stayed here the past two years in Feb. The rooms are clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The view is just beautiful. Yes it is an older and quaint building but this is part of its appeal to me.They do not provide shampoos or coffee. But the price is very reasonable.

My family (three of us) have stayed here for the past 9 years! We have stayed in each building and type of room they offer and have enjoyed each trip. Yes, the actual motel is dated and does not offer some amenities that other more modern hotels do, but the staff has always treated us great! My wife sometimes travels... More

I would put this place on the tv show "hotel impossible". They need a serious renovation, many tips on effective management, and a whole new staff and attitude. The showers go from very hot to extremely cold, the sinks are very dirty, and the place is really a dump. Its location is beautiful, but unless you are married with children... More

Used to stay every year, but every year the staff gets ruder, so my friends and I will not be going back. Plenty of underage kids drinking around the property, and several times the police have showed up (after they disturb the peace, throw a beer bottle at someone walking by, or something of the sort). However, price and location... More

Parking's across the street. Well kept facility overall, friendly staff, comfortable bed except the pillow was flat to almost non-existent. We only stayed overnight as we were in town for an event at the convention center . Will go back.

We were in North Myrtle Beach for a wedding and stayed at the Tricia-Lyn. The place is "vintage" and charming! The room was clean and very comfortable. It served our needs perfectlyl. The best part is that it is RIGHT ON the beach. No elevators or huge boardwalks to struggle over. We walked out our door and right onto the... More

I have been vacationing at Myrtle Beach for several years now, and I have to say that I have found a new home at Tricia-Lyn. My family of (5) just recently had the pleasure of staying in room 111. Not only was the room big enough but very clean as well. The staff was very friendly from the time I... More

Read reviews on Tricia Lyn and was hesitant about the place until the day we arrived. We will return in 2013. Staff was very helpful. Lisa was friendly and helpful. Maid service was great. We loved the clean pool. Very close to many places to eat or shop. Our family of 11 stayed in 3 rooms and all the rooms... More

Our daughter and her boyfriend stayed there at the Sea Villas in June 2012. It was after a last minute decision for them to go on spring break and meet their friends there. This motel and only one other place (Edgewater Inn) was available and willing to rent to seniors. I talked to Don Helsel and he was very nice... More

Got Lisa on the phone. I asked for a ocean front room - not ocean view, confirmed that we could smoke on the balcony (some hotel won't allow this). We talked for awhile & she knew what I was looking for. No problem. Upon arrival, not only was it not ocean front, the room didn't even have an ocean view... More
