GOOD: - lobby was nice -breakfast was great; waffles, cereal, sausages, etc -very nice staff -good location, close to the beach (five minute drive to the beach; plenty of free public parking) -price was pretty good BAD: -rooms could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom -lots of bugs in the room -very slow internet connection, although it's free. Overall, this... more

Traveled with my husband and 2 dogs. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful, the waffles extra special with the sausage biscuts. We were origianally placed on the 5th floor which was a problem witht the dogs. The manager was eager to assist and moved us to a first floor room very close to the pool. The rooms... more

The staff was very accomodating. Our visit included our dog and as well behaved as our dog is we can understand that many hotels are reluctant to accept pets. The fact that we may travel with our pet is one of the most important objectives when we select any place to stay. Your policy of allowing our well behaved pet... more

Hope they liked my stay because this will be the last one. Upon entering the room I got a feeling and checked the sheets immediately...they were stained and I had them replaced. Dust and dirt everywhere...hallway, elevators, light fixtures, no TV remote (they brought me one and some parts were missing), bathroom floor filthy, sprinkler in bathroom was hanging through... more

We stayed at the La Quinta Inn located directly across from Broadway at the Beach and it was perfect! Broadway is far enough across the lawns that noise and people are NO problem, but close enough to walk to. This hotel is pet friendly and has a GREAT free breakfast! The rooms were very large and the pool/hot tub area... more

Well, first off I booked through Orbitz and got a great deal. This hotel IS pet friendly which is a plus even though in the end I didn't bring my dogs. I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel and I didn't get a 5 star hotel. It was just a place my husband and I could sleep at night. It... more

The front desk had great customer service. It was an easy check-in. The front desk called to the room about 30 min. after check-in to see if the room was o.k. We had a 2 queen bed suite. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I was a little disappointed in the breakfast. It was not much of... more

I did not expect much from a La Quinta, but this hotel was part of a golf package that included the room and golf course reservations. From the time we arrived, I saw trouble coming. The front desk was empty at 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon, and it took about 10 minutes for another employee to chase down the desk... more

Our family (including two small children) came into Myrtle Beach at 3am on a Sat night and were in desperate need of a room. After checking with several hotels that were way too pricey (including where we would be staying the remainder of the week) we came across this hotel. The front desk lady was friendly and offered us a... more
