We have been camping at Apache for a number of years, usually early spring or late fall. We have never really enjoyed MB during peak summer season for all the reasons you've read in other reviews. Other campgrounds are just as loud, crowded, noisy, and dirty during peak season. We love the location, love the pier, love the restaurant. Sure... More

We spent the month of October at Apache. The staff and facilities are above average. The location is excellent. The campground is well managed. You do have to pay additional for wifi, but that is not unusual in the MB area.

We went to Myrtle beach in Sept of 2014 intending to stay for a few weeks, but after 4 days we finally left and went to North Carolina. This place is mainly all permanent campers. They couldn't care less about the traveler. Rows M and N are left open for travelers and a large section of beach front also. They... More

We rented a leisure living unit MH87 which was totally infested with roaches. After 2 days we reported it to the front office and they sent maintenance out to spray. We never saw a decrease in roaches. At night you would encounter them in the bed, under the bed, in the bathrooms, in the walls, scurrying from under the couch,... More

We arrived on a weekday in July and it was easy access into the campground. Upon driving to our site, I was concerned. Since we are avid campers (been camping 4 times since June 2014) I pretty much know what to look for. When I called to make reservations they told me they had internet, which I needed for my... We just got back from a weeks stay at Apache and we had a blast. We took our camper down as this was the first time we camped at the beach. It was great. We rented a golf cart for the week which was a huge help. The site had plenty of room for us, there were 7 in our... More

My family and I just finished a two-week stay at Apache. This was our 2nd time there. We love it there! We rented a 3-bedroom home on the grounds along with a golf cart. The house was clean and very comfortable. We also enjoyed taking the golf cart to the pool, beach, and for rides around the campground. My little... More

Apache campground has small sites and most of them are un level, there bathhouse on G trail need to be update with air condition, it does not make any sense to take a shower and start to sweat before you get outside. And now to the golf cart issues, there are simply to many golf cart and they feel like... More

First trip here, stayed from Friday to Tuesday. Had a great time, it is a little tight backing into your site but once you're in, there's plenty of room. Pier was cool, pool was nice. Definitely will be coming back.
