This was about the most filthy hotel I have ever stayed in. Please don't waste your time and money. This hotel is in dire need of renovation and cleaning. When my grandson and I arrived at approximately 5 pm on July 11, 2009, we found that the housekeeping staff had left the door unlocked (done by leaving the deadbolt extended... more

I made a reservation online & used my credit card to hold the room. When we arrived, they had given our room away... What's the point in offering a reservation if you are not going to honor it?? We drove around Charleston for 2 hours looking for another room. We finally found a Days Inn with rooms available and it... more

I have stayed in quite a few hotels/motels over the years but never have I been in one that actualy made my skin crawl. Only needed a one night stay - wanted to get off the road after a 10 hour drive from NY. Cockroach crawled out of the chairs. Drug dealing going on right under managements nose, the bed... more

I stayed at this hotel for the Charleston Tall Ships event that happened in May. I did not choose the hotel, it was chosen by another person in the group hired because of its location near the port area. I arrived at the hotel at night time. Checked in as usual and given directions to where the room was located.... more

The Room I realize that these are 'bargain' motels, but this was one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in. There were cigarette burns all over this 'no smoking' room, including several huge ones on the bedspread. There was something black all over the ceiling above the shower. The hole for the a/c unit was bigger than the... more

This hotel was an experience. The hotel lobby has bullet-proof glass and staff that excell in rudeness. The rooms are filthy with cockroaches in every nook and cranny which I should've known because they were crawling all over the outside of the hotel. The area of town this hotel is in is one of the dodgiest i've ever been in.... more

It was windy and very cold December night and we were looking for a nice warm motel, while touring Charleston. This motel fitted our needs just fine, and had a large yard for walking my dog. It was close to the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier, which we visited, but was kind of far from other attractions, restaurants etc. It looked... more

As previous review states, I myself also do not stay at the top of the line hotels and am willing to overlook things but this place was BAD!!!! When we checked in, we were put in the area of the extended stay guest. The room was not the best in the world but we were only staying one night. There... more

We stayed there in November of 2003, however I recently found this website which is why I'm writing the review now. They had billboards all over advertising low rates. We should have left when 1) the receptionist was quite rude, 2) the check-in area was incased in heavy clear plastic, like the protection at a bank, 3) the only rates... more
