Sea Dunes Ocean Front Myrtle Beach charged my Credit Card twice for the amount of $142.19 and they charged my mother $422.88 at checkout for the full price of the room. This is unacceptable, I tried to call the hotel but no one would call me back. Now I am currently playing email tag back and forth with Hotels.com to resolve the issue.

Location is great for what we needed. The price was good for an Ocean Front Motel that time of year I felt after researching online. The rooms were clean and large enough. However, Narrow entry to bathroom. Nice staff for the most part ESPECIALLY the front desk lady ...I cant remember her name but her husband helps out some from time to time it seems and the head house keeper. We were initially put in a different room than we expected. The next day we were moved and the view was much better. We'll likely be back!

The hotel was nasty dirty the sheets had some sort of sticky substance in several spots and the photos are of the hotel next store this one is broken down small and infested with the biggest roches I have ever seen I lasted 10 minutes before refusing the room and asking for my money back (I would rather drive the 16 hours home then stay there another second) they refunded most but kept a percentage which I’m not happy about because it’s false advertising the way they make there hotel look online do yourself a favor DO NOT STAY IN THIS PLACE

👇👇PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT MAKING A RESERVATION HERE.👇👇 I wouldn't commend this place to my worst enemy. We checked in at 9pm and walked into the nastiest smelling room that I have ever rented. We went to immediately turn on the AC unit since it was cooler outside than in the room (at least 85 degrees in the room) and it was covered in dust and dirt. My husband cleaned it for an hour before we went out and walked around to let our room cool off. The AC unit was apparently broken and we were too tired to move ary this point so I went to buy a fan at Walmart at 1:30am just so we could breathe and try to get some sleep. We were told they would be up to replace the ac unit between 8:30 and 9:30. Nope it was 11 before they came and replaced the bad unit with another that was even worse so we ended up moving to another room where someone had just checked out. The room was cool when we opened the door so we moved everything to the new room. In the 2nd room there were pieces of the ceiling in the floor in the bathroom and mold around 1 of the light fixtures and the door between rooms was b busted. There were 2 lights out off 3 were out and the remote was wrapped with packing tape. So I went back to our first room got 2 bulbs and the good remote. We saw 2 small roaches in the bathroom the night before we left so I hope we don't end up taking some home with us. We were told at the front desk to email the property manager. We lost a complete day because of this. Everywhere you walked around the property all you could smell was marijuana. Forgot to mention the homemade Pepsi plastic bottle bong that was in the cupboard of the second room.

There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling where a light or fan was supposed to be and it looked like part of the ceiling was going to cave in. Other than that, it was clean. No bugs and the pool was nice. Staff was friendly. Worth it for the cost and location was great.

The most disgusting place I've ever ever stayed in. Rooms are hideous, a lot of hair all in sheets, boogers wiped on walls in bathroom, bugs in drawers, vomit dried n left of side of bed. It should be shut down! Pics to prove it.... just beyond nasty. Calling DHEC OR WHOEVER IT TAKES.

Inexpensive, unpretentious, simple and basic. If you are looking for a place to stay that lets you see the ocean from the window of your room, but you would rather spend your money on activities instead of a more expensive place to stay, then Sea Dunes is the place for you. Only a 30 second walk from the ocean, it also provides a room with a stove, refrigerator, and sink. It also has a pool for when you are in the mood for fresh water. Located on the Strip, you are 5 minutes walking distance from amusement parks, shopping, dining, etc... Can't wait to go back and bring the whole family.

Upon check-in receptionist was not at front desk, and door was locked! She came walking up from one of the units. Room didn't smell fresh at all! There was no tissue or clean towels. The unit seem as if it wasn't clean over time, on the floor we found plastic cups, cigarettes butts, and old cereal stuck to the carpet..Even went to heat food an there was a old sausage still in the microwave.. GROSS!! There was stains, hair strands, and even smaller pubic hair on the bed sheets.Called front desk to request new sheets NO ANSWER, finally came with clean sheets after 2 attempts... Paid 100$ to stay overnight VERY UNPLEASED!!!!
