This was the 1st family trip we all took together, and my family and I really had a super time. Rooms are clean, quite, spacious, pool is very clean, and the staff was so nice and friendly. more

We were so dissappointed when we checked out our room. We were given a 1st floor oceanfront room that was more like an oceanview and the private balcony was anything but private. The swimming pool was right in front of our balcony and everyone walked right in front of our balcony to go to the pool. We could have stayed... more

I just returned from a long weekend at Tropical Seas. The hotel does need some renovations, but I have to say that the staff was the kindest and friendliest in all of Myrtle Beach! They asked us to go view our room before we checked in to make sure that we liked it, and let us check in about 4... more

We arrived at the hotel an hour and a half before check in and our room was ready , we were thrilled after the 12 hour drive. The lady at check in was super friendly and helpful. I'm sorry I forgot her name. We went directly up to our room which overlooked the very clean pools. Each morning the maintenance... more

The tropical seas is very dated. We have stayed there for the past 4 years, and it is just becoming plain run down. The elevator doesnt work half the time and there is only one to service all of the floors. The kitchen appliances and lines are extremley old and need to be replaced. However the staff is very nice... more

The hotel is the on average size, smaller than the hotels around. Tropical Seas is in a great location, near everything. The hotel has great swimming pools. The price of the room was cheaper then we have stayed in ocean city, MD. I went with my boyfriend and we choose a room with 2 balconies, fridge, and a stove. I... more

We where on our way to a Wedding in Charleston SC and we left a day early to spend a night at Myrtle Beach. Needless to say we could not find a room at a decent rate for 1 night but we decided to just stop at some places that had Vacancy on the Signs. Tropical Seas was the first... more

The hotel was very nice. It's oceanfront. The price was very reasonable. I had a room with a side oceanview balcony & a small fridge.. The hotel staff was great. The room was spotless. Anything you needed you just had to ask, and you got it right away. This hotel had a pizzeria, But you can go to the sister... more

Just returned from a stay in Myrtle Beach at the Tropical Seas. The good things about the hotel is that it is affordable compared to some of the other ones, and was located in a fairly good place. The view from our balcony 5th floor room 502 was very good, and the pools were clean and pretty. Also we checked... more
