My husband and I stayed with our daughter for spring break. We reserved an angle ocean view one bedroom suite. The room was very dated. The windows had vertical blinds but many were missing leaving virtually no privacy. The curtains on the balcony door were torn...literally shredded from the bottom up and very dingy. The carpet and furniture were not... More

Our stay at the Palace was a very pleasent despite the fears we had after reading the reviews. We asked to see our room before we checked in as we had been suggested to do. The lady at the desk was very nice, she gave us the key and told us to take our time. When we got to the... More

Shocking for a place called the palace, The one bed in the suite had a comforter that looked like it came from a yard sale. Not to mention a torn bedskirt pinned to the mattress. On the pull out sofa, the mattress looked as if rats had been chewing on it. We found many old food items in it such... More

First the bed we had was an approximate 4 in. mattress on a wooden box. No support whatsoever. Very uncomfortable we were expecting a lot nicer room. At the least a real bed after traveling. The blinds were bent and coming apart. The refrigerator was only cool would not keep anything cold no ice. Brownwater runing out from under refrigerator, reported... More

I should have listened to those who said stay-away! I thought if I asked to see the room first like some of you suggested, I might be one of the blessed ones. Well, I was wrong. I went in to see the room and let me tell you, at-a-glance it looked fine...but I did not notice the lighting in the... More

These condos need a new name...one that is not so misleading... Palace ...NOT...Party Central Yes!!! ....It is not family oriented...Resort? NOT! One of the main reasons I booked this was INDOOR POOL....IT'S IN EVERY AD THAT I HAVE SEEN...I have children and if there was going to be a rainy day...we needed an INDOOR pool...well..needless to say ..the INDOOR POOL..is... Have been going to Myrtle Beach since 1976 & this was by far the WORST stay I have ever encountered. Where do I start? To begin with, the room was well NASTY. The wallpaper had been pulled off & the walls were dirty. We almost left as soon as we arrived due to the ROACHES scurring across the batroom floor.... More

We have been vacationing in Myrtle Beach for the past 3 years and each time we stayed at the Palace Resort. It is very affordable, yet the service, the staff, the appearance and the relaxing atmosphere is still top rated("A"). My husband & I really enjoyed our stay. We had a fabulous ocean front suite. The kitchen and all the... More

After visiting Myrtle Beach for the past 30 years, we stayed at the Palace Resort for the first time this past week.... While the weather was less than accomodating, rain/wind/clouds, we have found our new home away from home. The Palace Resort was bright, clean, quiet, friendly, and we are making plans to return there this Fall. We applaud the... More

We were happy with our week at the Palace and Myrtle Beach. We had a nice 2 bedroom/2 bath condo with a great oceanview (#1607). It was nicely decorated and comfortable. There was a full sized kitchen with D/W and what looked like new appliances. The bedrooms were on opposite sides of the condo, giving each couple plenty of privacy.... More
