First of all, the website makes you think this hotel is "one of a kind." It is VERY misleading!! The parking deck is very inconvenient....make sure you remember the "ground" floors are different for the parking deck & the hotel. When you have children, you have to make several trips to your vehicle, & it's very irritating how far you... more

we Immediately knew that the hotel was an older Property, and were a bit Wary because of all of the bad reviews; however, the Landmark was a great place to stay and was fun for the whole family. all of the pools (Except for the kiddie pool with the waterfall) was heated and the bottoms of the pools were recently re-paved.... more

I made reservations and a $100 deposit in April for The Landmark Resort from June 21 through June 25. I was told to check in across the street at The Waverider, I was given a confimation number and my reservations were for The Landmark Resort I thought. We arrived on Sunday, went to check in and was told that the... more

I have stayed at many hotels at myrtle beach but the Landmark Resort is by far the smelliest, dirtiest, run down hotel there. The pub, was the only nice thing about that hotel and the entrance lobby. The hallways smelled like urine, the pools were very dirty and the class of people that stayed there were trash throwing toliet paper... more

This was at least our 3rd stay at this hotel after saying each year we are going to try a different hotel the next year. We arrived about 10:30 to check in. This year we got a great deal on an efficiency room instead of a suite, so we wanted to make sure we didn't get stuck with a crappy... more

After waitng 2 hours to check in (yes we got there early but our room should have been ready by 3 and it was after 4pm when we finally got our room) the room we were given was disgusting. It looked like it had not been dusted in quite a while, there was food crusted on the buttons of the... more

I had never gone to Myrtle Beach before so I did not know what to expect from this hotel after reading some of the review. I got a really great rate. The room was nice and the staff were very nice and helpful. I dont know why some people wrote bad reviews. Every thing was clean and in order. The... more

My husband and I had never been to Mrytle Beach before and did not know where to stay. I tried to search for hotels within our budget. We stayed at The Landmark Resort for six nights. The first night at Landmark was a bit noisy since the elevator is right accross the hall from our room, but the next few... more

I dont really have any complaints about the hotel. It was safe, clean, the staff was friendly and very courteous and It was in close proximity to shopping. My only issuse was the elevator. It took forever for the elevators to come when called, and when it did come it was filled to capacity by other guests or hotel staff... more

First, let me say that i have stayed in this hotel several times over the past 7 yrs. The past couple of times concerned me so much that i won't stay there anymore. It seemed to be a mecca of questionable characters who stay there anymore, the parking lot was scary after dark, and the chlorine smell in the indoor... more
