Pros: Very family friendly. Indoor waterpark and activities are a hit with the kids. Mom & Dad enjoyed the lazy rivers. Room had a kitchen. Friendly staff. Good beach in front of the hotel. Close (10 min or so) to Broadway at the Beach. Cons: Expensive for the size of room. You have to cross a busy street to get... more

My wife, my 7 year old son and I had a great time at this hotel. The rates were very competitive and the property was first class. All of the staff were very helpful and courteous. The water park inside the hotel was a lot of fun and saved us a great deal of money, since we didn't have to... more

Dunes Village is a great place to stay with great features. We stayed in an oceanfront studio with kitchenette. We were able to eat breakfast and lunch in our room which helped our budget. The staff were extremely helpful. When we arrived the room we had was not accessible for my scooter (there were steps to that level) and they... more

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Dunes Village Resort.( July 11-15) We were traveling with 2 children, ages 6 and 10. We were impressed from the moment we checked in. We were later than we wanted to be on checking in due to traffic, but there was no wait and we got the higher level floor as... more

My family and I stayed at Dunes Village in the Palmetto Tower June 25-30. There were 6 adults and 5 children, so we stayed in the 4 bdrm deluxe condo. The condo was really nice -- it looked just like the photos on their website. I guess the Palms tower is more updated because all those rooms have flat screen... more

It was my son's Birthday, and since money has been so tight, I didn't think I could afford a big birthday party for him, but I found some great deals online, so I decided to surprise both my boys and a couple of their friends by booking a fun, quality place to stay in MB for a night. We're from... more

This was our 3rd year staying at the Dunes and once again it was great. We stayed May 30-June 4th in an Oceanfront Queen Suite and had no problems at all w/ our room. We arrived early and the front desk was wonderful.....they allowed us to check in even though our room wasn't ready. They gave us our parking pass... more

Just returned from a 7 day stay at the Dunes Village Resort. Our room was adequate and the amenities were very nice. However, after the third night we discovered bed bugs in our room. We stayed in a 3 bedroom "condo." The management seemed inexperienced and naive at best on how to handle the situation. They agreed to move us... more

We just got back from a beautiful resort 7/5/ to 7/10. My wife and daughter loved it. Something for everyone. There a lot positive and a few negatives: 1. They cleaned the pool everyday (I practically watched them from the balcony. 2. The resort has an indoor water park for children in Palmetto and the adult waterpark in Palms 3.... more

We stayed in the oceanfront 4 bedroom condo. We had ordered a 3 bedroom condo and ended up in a 4. Room 937. Kids ranged from 8-14. Every staff member we met was helpful and curteous. Our condo was beautiful. There were lots to do in the pool rooms. Pool, ping pong. Fooz ball, shuffle board. All the kids had... more
