To start with the positives...The hotel is in a good, central location and is front beach. If this is the main thing you're looking for, then this hotel is for you. We just returned from our trip to Myrtle Beach and stayed at the BW Carolinian. We had a 2 bedroom suite on the 19th floor and loved the room. The view is great and the hotel service is very good. My family & I stayed for the first time this year. The room was in excellent condition. The staff were nice and always answered our requests quickly. Our room was oceanfront with an excellent view and easy access. The two young children (5 & 8) enjoyed the pool, lazy river, and hot tub that the hotel offered. The only problem... more

I was very pleased with this resort and I am hard to please. We had a 2 bedroom end unit on the 15th floor and the view was awesome. Rooms were large and having 2 bathrooms was a big help. more

We stayed a night during the "bike weekend" in this hotel. The staff at the registration was very unfriendly. The atmosphere was similar what you may have expected from a check-in at a jail. We stayed here for the first time this year. We were very impressed with the friendliness of all of the staff. They were very helpful. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious, very nice. The location was great, close to many attractions. more
