My son and in were in MB for his college orientation. We booked a room at a Days Inn that was terrible. I drove down the strip and checked with Bar Harbor. There rates were reasonable. They allowed me to look at a room before booking. I checked in the next day. they gave me a different room then they... More

On my boyfriend and my first trip to Myrtle Beach in August of 2008 we stayed at the Bar Harbor. We had reserved a room on the internet- Penthouse King Suite! It was a great price for what was listed on the website. Check- in was easy and quick and parking was okay, there was a small lot in between... More

First off, I have never written a review before, but I feel a review is warranted! My family and I booked a seven night stay with Bar Harbor a month in advance to our arrival. We booked a non-smoking room, but upon arrival we were told that you may only request this, but are not guaranteed it. We were given... More

My family and I just finished staying at the Bar Harbor for 3 nights. The location is great if you have teenagers. It is very close to the amusement park, water slide, and just a few blocks down from the wooden boardwalk area. Our room had a kitchenette (med. refrigerator, small stove, small table, & microwave), 2 beds and a... More

We stayed here on June 26,2011. The room consist of no mopping, toe nail clippings, bottle caps, mouse droppings, mold. We took showers in our water shoes. You could not see out of the patio window, it had never been cleaned. The kitchen had egg splattered and grease all over it. The pool was nasty with red ants crawling all... More

Not a bad place at all! We stayed here for 4 nights after checking out of the motel we had booked into because we felt unsafe there! After checking out prices in approx. 20 hotels on the beach we eventually found the Bar Harbour Inn and although we ended up paying twice what we had for our first hotel, it... More

We have stayed here many times and always get what we pay for plus friendly, courteous staff. We go to the beach for the myriad of things to do and places to eat, we do not go for the room. We always have an efficiency and we enjoy it. If you are snooty or very picky, please pay the outrageous... More

this could be a nice place with some work. it looks like the last time they redecorated the place was 1965. BADS- huge clunky tube TV (single), nasty shag carpet, horrible green color wallpaper, rusty exterior, door falling off hinges, windows won't open, no ice machine (broken). GOODS- Nice front desk, Cold AC, decent bed, large room, beachfront with nice... More

The 3 of us arrived on Good Friday for a three night stay. We had not pre-booked any hotel rooms (were doing a road trip so was not sure what date we would arrive). The first two hotels had no rooms available. One was asking nearly $300 per night (for a 2 bed suite). We then arrived at Harbor Bay... More
