We rented a private condo at the resort. 12th floor of the main building. It's an older hotel that doesn't seem to be updated very often. We have rented this one particular condo for the past 7 years and the owner takes care of it rather well. The pool at the resort is nice. The sauna is great as well.... More

My family and I went for the Christmas holiday. I was actually surprised at the place, and not in a good way. When we walked in to the place we were going to be sleeping, it smelled like wet wood. The closet, the doors in the place, the ceiling fan, etc were dusty. With my OCD instead of starting my... More

This was the must jacked up resort I’ve ever stayed in. There was so many things that was broken and old and Rusty and needed to be replaced. The floor on the patio was just absolutely ridiculous. And the worst part of all of it is that the staff just think that everything is just hunky-dory. You would think to... More

We stayed in room 1106 and it was super nice and clean. There was a very good side view of the ocean and everything we needed in the room. Also Bolton's blue water cafe had a super breakfast special--pumpkin French toast! It was very reasonable, convenient and the owner was friendly.

We stayed in room 206. This room should not be rented to anyone until it is refurbished. It smelled and was very poorly maintained. The kitchen had a stove, oven and microwave but no pots or pans. The mattress was lumpy and the pullout sofa was worse. The floor had no rugs and the tile was always damp. The bathroom... More

My newlywed husband and I were struggling to pick a destination for our honeymoon until, after much deliberation, we unanimously decided that Myrtle Beach was the spot for our special week! Beach, relaxation, views, fun, golf, food, safety, value...it checked every box. For starters, the location of Blue Water Resort is awesome and super convenient. It’s 5 minutes from the... More

We stayed here for Labor Day weekend. The resort was average. They had a small restaurant inside the resort but it didn't stay open very late and it was a bit pricey. They had an outside bar that closed fairly early and the drinks were $15 for the first one in a souvenier cup and they $10 for refills. The... More

We stayed at this resort for Labor Day weekend and loved it. We stayed in a studio room across the street from the main building. It was not right on the beach but all you had to do is walk across the street. Everything was clean, nice beach area, friendly people, so many pools, and the restaurant was cute and... More
