We stayed at this resort, room 201-b. We arrived yesterday 7/19 at 4pm, we were greeted at the front desk by Iris whom was very nice and helpful. When we got to our room the trouble started. This is the list of deficiencies we have experienced after only the first night; • room was dirty • bathroom had hair on... More

As an explaination to these remarks I need to address the controls at the Bluewater. This unit is across the street from the ocean as as such faces Ocean Blvd where street traffic runs all night. Secondly, the rental managment has no control on any policies related to the property. The Bluewater HOA has full responsibility for anything outside of... More

Fantastic family vacation in very nice condo unit 720. Very clean unit and building , kids loved all the pools and the oceanfront bar was great. We will be back again. Owner was very responsive to all questions we had and made entire process flawless. 15th oceanfront bar was great way to end a day on the beach. Lots of... More

Whatever you do, don't rent this unit. Not only is it outdated it us filthy. When we arrived my boyfriend and I spent over two hours cleaning the place. The cleaning staff should be fired. The eyes if the stove had old dried up grease down inside. The top of the refrigerator was so dirty, I stopped cleaning. The baseboards... More

This unit is not part of the on site rental management. Condolux is an outside company that manages units here and along the beach. In the future, please use the on site company for better service More

We stayed here for my mom's 60th bday! Our rooms (1202 & 1504) were clean and furniture was good and not dated. Pillows were horrible, bring your own if possible Bathroom was extremely clean which I always like. The pools and beach are amazing. Great family friendly place. Will stay here again.

We stayed for a week (Saturday through Saturday) but I doubt we will return. Room 803 was spacious but very dated. The furniture was worn out; the mattresses were absolutely terrible. I actually dreaded bed time because I feared the awful back pain and sleepless hours. The paint needed to be updated maybe use a straightedge or painter's tape this... More

This unit is not part of the on site rental program. Renting from the onsite company will allow better service. Othe management companies rent units in the facility. The onsite company has not responsibility for the conditions of these units More

Room was dirty and old. It was in dire need of remodeling. Bathrooms were awful. Poor and sloppy paint jobs, water damaged trim. Shower was filthy. Rooms were musty smelling. It was almost like staying in the projects at the beach. Kitchen was atrocious, dirty and worn out. Cabinets were old and wouldn't close properly. Balcony door handle was broken... More

Unfortunately, this comment does not afford much information to respond to. The Bluewater is comprised of over 200 units of which only 100 are on the onsite rental program. Each unit is individually owned and is the responsibility of each owner to decoarate and furnish. The units on our rental program are maintained with our in house staff as issues... More

Checked in at 4:15pm on July 3rd for a 4 night stay in a 2bdrm condo 802. When we walked in the room was nice an cold. We walked directly to balcony to see what kind of view. IT WAS A VIEW OF A USED CONDOM ON THE BALCONY FLOOR!!!! My 14yo daughter very distraught and wanted to leave the... More

I am truly sorry for your experiences during your stay here at the Bluewater. Since I assumed responsibility last May under a new company called Breakwater Management, my task has been to correct all the past areas of concerns here. While I have made a great deal of positive improvements, we still have areas that need more attention. That said,... More

The music was so loud from 11a-11p that we could not have a conversation on our balcony. If your planning on staying in one of their oceanfront rooms you will not be able to hear the ocean during music time, so forget about a peaceful vacation and getting sleep before 11 p.....and you better love karaoke and 80s music....

Every Resort on the Beach has a pool bar with music during the high season. A majority of the guests to these resorts request these services. While some guests enjoy the peace and quiet, others want activities. Music here is well within the volume levels but because we are on the ocean, sound travel differently. More

I will say the elevators are fast! We are staying in 302 and it is a lot smaller than the pictures portray. It's the smallest we have ever stayed in. The kitchen is a joke. Kahuna's bar is right below the unit, and that is cool at first, but the constant loud music all day until 11pm gets kind of... More

At 400-450 Sq ft, the 1 bedroom units are adequate for 2-3. We have larger 2 bedroom unit at 825 sq ft for those who require more room. The city of Myrtle Beach just changed the rules concerning cover on the beach. The rules were changed for safety they said. More
