We spent a week at St. Clements 301 about a month ago for our first vacation in over 7 years. This unit is incredible. Very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture, fully stocked kitchen, very very nice high-end appliances. After a couple of days we found ourselves referring to it as home. We were able to cook and eat breakfast and... More

Our joke of a vacation started the moment we arrived in Myrtle. I had called earlier the week of our trip to verify our reservations, check in procedures, etc. The representative told me to just look for the pink building (the St. Clements building) and we can check in there. False - the "resort" is spread out over several buildings... More

I am sorry to hear about your recent experiences while staying at the St. Clements. From your review, it appears that many of your issues were not with your particular unit, but with the management company that you rented your unit from. All the units in the St. Clements are individually owned. While some owners rent their units themselves, others... More

People in charge were lovely and professional, but the three units we saw were not clean enough to warrant more than two stars. Lovely old architecture and the unit layouts were suburb. We took the best of the three for six nights and regretted it. Stinky and dirty. Good value if you are not concerned about cleanliness or are only... More

I had stayed in the main building before and the room was nice. This trip I wanted something a little more intimate and tried the St. Clements building. The room was supposed to be an upgrade from the king room I had booked. When we got in the room, the bed was very tiny, the ceilings were very low and... More

Becky - I am sorry to hear that the rooms you were view not up to the standards that we hope to present. All of the units in our building are individually owned, so if you are able to update your review with the rooms you review with the unit numbers you saw, it will not only help our owners,... More

We just left there four days ago and loved our stay! The room was very spacious and the view was amazing! We got an OceanFront and was so worth it! The staff was amazing and top notch! Loved it all! No complaints at all and will definitely be looking for our next vacation we stay there!

At first, let me start by saying I was so nervous about booking the hotel based on some of the reviews and pictures listed. We stayed Sun-Wed. in mid August as a quick mini vacation before back to school. We booked at this resort because some of the people that were traveling with us were on a tight budget. When... More

We have been staying here for years and seen it change with new additions and amenities. We personally like the St. Clements condos on the resort property. They don't have the irritating wall unit heaters and AC. Central air is more comfortable than in main hotel. The caravelle resort consists of several different types of condos and hotel rooms. Their... More

We checked into 308 on August 4. It was cramped, worn-out, and the smell of stale cigarettes and fish was overwhelming. So the management moved us to 708. At least it didn't stink. However, after being in the room for a few hours my son stepped on a rusty nail underneath the carpet directly in front of the slider door.... More

The Caravelle consists of 4 or 5 resorts that range about a block on Ocean Boulevard. We were looking for a place right on the beach with a nice pool. We had friends come to the Caravelle and said the pool area was wonderful for kids, and the beach access was easy. They were right. We spent most of our... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review of the St. Clements. As you noted, many people enjoy the fact that with the St. Clements, you get the best of both worlds. You get to stay in a smaller building (66 units/interior hallways), while having all the great amenities that the Caravelle Family of properties offers!... More
