The campground is nice, but the staff is not friendly. We have camped at this campground for years and have always felt it was a shame they did not provide better customer service. After several issues with this camping trip we will be looking for a new place to stay next year! more

We have always enjoyed Pirateland and try to go every year - most of the stay is great except a couple of recent changes -the hot tub is covered over - closed - this has been the case for the past year or so -it is one of the things we have really looked forward too - and now they... more

Over the years we have stayed at every single campground in Myrtle Beach and I gotta tell ya, Pirateland is 5 aces in my book! Now, let's get the negative out of the way first. There is nothing negative! One item I notice, however, and this goes for every campground and hotel on the beachfront in all of Myrtle Beach... more

Pirateland is one awesome campground. We have two teenage daughters and we all are entertained from the minute we arive till the time we have to leave for home. Our girls love cruising the strip on the golf carts, we never have to leave the campground, everything you need is right there. There are so many activities for the children,... more

We stay at Pirateland every year. Even my wife who has always camped all over the place and likes her variety insists on a trip to Pirateland at least once a year. The staff they have is really top notch and is very thoughtful. I proposed one yea to my wife there and I mentioned it to the staff at... more

We stayed at Pirateland during the extreme heat wave of Aug. 2007, and our stay could not have been worse. The campground really talks itself up on the web, but upon arrival you soon realize it is just plain trash. The "lakes" are filled (and I mean filled) with all kinds of trash, milk jugs, plastic bags, drink bottles, ect.... more

The campground was not even close to the representations made in the brochures and on-line pictures. It was dated and overcrowded. The staff was rude and indifferent. There was insufficient room to park a trailer without asking neighbors to re-position their vehicles, bikes, etc. The ponds were scum covered lagoons. The only saving grace was the beach (crowded but very... more

Well I figure this will never get posted but here we go. To start we ask for assistance with a problem that started at the campsite which if the staff had helped the guy get his place there would have not been a problem to start. The site we had reserved had the people beside of us on it and... more

The entire experience was exceptional. From check in to check out we did not have a single problem. The gate guards were courteous and knowledgable as was the rest of the staff. The campground was convenient to everything. I would also hightly recommend Graham Golf Cart Rentals. Most of the attractions were not open as we were there off season,... more

We recently went to Mrytle Beach, SC and stayed at Pirate Land Campground with another family. We had a blast!!! We never left the campground the entire trip because everything we needed was right there. The campground is huge and sits right on the beach. It includes two pools (one indoor and one outdoors) a lazy river, a childrens pool,... more
