We just returned from a week long trip to Pirateland. We had a blast. However there were some issues - The worst was the lack of showers at the beach, yes we had an outdoor shower on the camper but it was a long walk. We go about every other year! With our family.. they have a camper and we stay in a tent with our 6 yr old. She loves it! There are golf carts to rent and paddle boats, mini golf and a lazy river. We never do any of that. But, theres lots of shade and good company definately for a family..... more

Found this place on line ,by accident gave it a try loved it! Lots of things to do with the kids . Bonus the beach is right there. Very affordable! Shower facilities were very nice. My husband, daughter ( age 4) and myself stayed at Pirateland and LOVED IT!! We stayed in a tent on one of the oceanfront sites and loved the location. The area was quiet at night and had plenty to do during the day. Biggest suggestion is to make the sacrifice and get the golf cart. Definitely worth it to join... more
