Sandcastle at the Pavilion is a great family friendly vacation destination. We have stayed there the past 4 years and are already looking forward to our next vacation. The staff are friendly and helpful. Location is prefect! Walking distance to tons of food and fun.

Vacation was a blast. The Sandcastle was a great place to stay. The staff was friendly; the housekeeping portion of the staff was top notch, especially the member that took care of us during our stay by the name of Shanita. She was unfailingly pleasant, cheerful and more. There are plenty of places to visit and food to enjoy...more that... More

Before booking please check hotel reviews so you can find something better for the same price! Let me first add do that the staff was friendly. The hotel looked immaculate on the website but I failed to read the many negative reviews posted. When I arrived I noticed the outdated decor and a lifeless insect located in the bathroom along... They didn't allow me to check in until 5:30pm. Once in the room, there was blood everywhere. Large amounts of blood in the bathroom door frame, on sheets and spackled throughout the room. There was also hair on the pillow. The only good thing is they gave mea refund without a fight.

Ok let me start by saying I live here in SC but an hour away from the beach. We have family that visits from up north very regularly. As in 5 times since last October. We have stayed at different hotels each time to find the place that not only works for our young children but for older grandparents as... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind comments! We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to seeing you on future visits! Its unfortunate that the baseball team made your first night rough, but it is comforting to hear that the staff were able to accommodate you and make your stay enjoyable. More

Every year in October I come to Myrtle Beach for my family reunion.. And every year I stay at a different ceanfront hotel. Seems like something was always wrong, rather it be roaches, and I'm not talking about palmetto bugs, the kind you find in the kitchen due to improper cleaning, there was always something that caused me to try a... We did not have any reservations and stopped at Sand Castle looking for an oceanfront room. They had one available and the rates were reasonable. We got into our room right away Found the room clean, the decor pleasant and the beds firm. Loved the view of the ocean from the private balcony. It is a very short walk from... More

We ended up staying here due to our original accommodation falling through. It turned out to be a pleasant stay. The staff were very nice and courteous the room was a little on the small side especially with a toddler and the five million toys he must travel with but otherwise the room was clean with plenty towels and it... Three nights ago my friend and I, both under 21, made a trip to myrtle beach to have a mini vacation. This being the only hotel that allows people under 21 in we stayed here. I put the $200 security deposit down and we went to the room. The room was not the best for the price, but we had... More
