My sister and I stayed for a 3 day memorial vacation in October of this year and we had a very relaxing time and reminisced about the times she stayed with her husband of 20 years and he suddenly died in July! She was heartbroken! My husband and I bought their travel trailer and truck to pull it with so... More

Campground is very large and they have a lot of activities for kids. Interior roads are narrow, and spaces are too short. Campers just out into roads making access hazardous. We were assigned a space that was totally unacceptable for our class A motorhome. Due to low-hanging branches, clearance was less than 10 ft. We went back to registration. They... More

Just spent five nights at Ocean Lakes Campground. Overall very pleased with our stay. Our site was in section I, second site from the beach access. The concrete pad was great - very easy to level and helped keep the sand out of the camper. This time of year it is mostly huge 5th wheelers and Class A motorhomes, and... More

Hugh campground right on the beach. They have full services and concrete pads. They are a little short for large rigs with toads but cars can park sideways in front. The Wifi at all times was excellent 6 to 9 mg download. The bathrooms were the best I have seen, very clean. We were in a Rally and the Rec... More

My sweetheart and I went on rv road trip for our anniversary. We have two dogs (Shepador and Great Pyrenees puppy) So most hotels are out for us when we take them. Dogs are allowed on beach this time of year so that was great!! We stayed on concrete site. Very nice place. Great care of grounds and especially roads.... More

I really enjoyed this RV Park and I'm full-time for a year, so I've been to a lot of RV campgrounds! They have everything there (store, restaurant, beach) so there is no reason to leave once you park it. The beach is A+!! I thought the price was very reasonable for the amenities. It was also fun to rent a... More

Our family made the mistake of going here during our young kids spring break - what a HUGE mistake! The teenagers are allowed to run wild - cursing, loud music, golf carts speeding up and down the lanes. Several calls to security made no difference. Complaints to the security office made no difference. Complaints to management made no difference. As... More

Thank you for choosing Ocean Lakes, we are disappointed to hear about your experience at our campground. We truly want our guests to have a good memories. I had a horrible vacation experience once due to spring break, so I understand the frustration. Today's world has seen general behavior decline and therefore many resorts have had to alter their tactics... More

When we arrived we thought we would hate this place. However we were pleasantly surprised. Although the sites are very small and no fire rings or grills, they have everything else you could think of. No need to leave the property. Large grocery store, beach, huge pools, game area, snack bars, lots of nice people. We will go back!

First time staying here. Stayed at Pirateland in July. I will say that the actual campground at Oceanlakes is better than Pirateland BUT the water park at Pirateland is SOOOOO much more amazing than at Oceanlakes. I have two grandchildren that we take camping. If I were planning a trip with them I would have to choose Pirateland over Oceanlakes.... More

We spent 6 nights here, taking the chance of making reservations before ever seeing the campgrounds and we were very pleased. The beach is beautiful and is very well kept. Bathhouses, restrooms, laundry area, etc were all well maintained and clean. The staff was very friendly. In fact one security staff member went out of her way to help us.... More
