(We are currently in this hotel) After traveling many hours to get here, we were put into our reserved room which was filthy. Feet marks on walls, sticky stuff all over the place, musty smell etc etc. The pools are so dirty I refuse to go into them. I have always liked Compass Cove -- we stay in a 3 bedroom, oceanfront unit. The unit is really comfortable. The master bedroom and living room are oceanfront with the ocean also visible from the open-concept kitchen. The unit is large enough for the 11 people we had in our party. we had a great time. room was okay. many pools and lazy river. check in at 3:00 is strickly enforced. when the winds picked up it made a very loud whistle through the door, but other than that it is another average hotel in mbsc. more

There were many young families there and a lot of small children. Not a romantic getaway. No one enforced the "tubes required in lazy river" rule, so there were tons of kids splashing and kicking in there. You get what you pay for with this place. So we wanted to try somewhere different other than the SeaCrest and we regretted it!! It was all spread out in 3 different buildings... Our room was not ready for our late arrival...we had no clean towels-dirty towels were still on the floors. We had to call twice to get towels and they were finally delivered at 11:30pm. We stayed here for one night...Saturday to a Sunday and used the pools all day Saturday and again Sunday before we checked out. The place is like a mini water park with a Nickelodeon style splash pool, a lazy river, several baby pools with water features and regular pools too. Take your pick. We had a ball! The room was awesome , well kept , and clean!! I called down the first night at almost 11pm for two extra pillows in less than 10 min the maid delivered. The entire stay was wonderful! I told all my coworkers and family members about this resort! We had an excellent time! We will stay again... more
