We checked in on 04/02/09 and were put in room 201. A two room three bed w/kitchen unit. The refrigerator dipped forward, and everytime that we went to open it,the door stuck on floor. That was the best part.We discovered far worst as the evening progressed. We should have checked the beds as soon as we checked in,but everyone, especially the kids were... More

Stayed overnight here on 3/3/2009 for a business trip. The price was great at 32 dollars for an Ocean front room on the sixth floor. Room had a fridge, Microwave, and a stove which we really didn't need but it was there. Bed slept fine . Had a great view of the ocean and the beach. I didn't see any... More

We travel to Myrtle Beach once a year in the fall to start our Christmas Shopping. As we all know times are tough right now, so we didn't have the extra money to spend on our usual hotel, so we decided to take a swing at it and go cheaper. Biggest mistake ever! At check-in the staff was very nice,... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel thinking that it would be a nice place for a college couple with little money to get away. Upon arrival we had to wait 2 hours to check into our room. We used the available bathroom in the lobby to change into our swimsuits which was DISGUSTING. They were out of toilet... More

we went to the beach on a budget and booked the least expensive Hotel in Myrtle Beach. It is old and rustic but you could tell the staff goes out of there way to keep the rooms clean, I have no complaints abou the Polynesian. it is on the beach, we could walk to Family Kingdom Park in about five... We arrived at the hotel around 11pm. There were 4 adults and 3 kids so we had booked a 2 room suite. The room they gave us had two doubles, a pull out couch, and about 1000 roaches. We went back to the front desk and they gave us an oceanfront room. Problem was this room only had two doubles.... More

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! Bugs! Bugs! Bugs! and roaches and other black crawling creatures. The carpet was filthy, dirty, wet, and torn. The bottom of my foot was dirty from walking on the dirty carpet. The beds were hard. The remote to the tv didnt work. The paint in the tub was chipping. There were no clear parking spaces as a result cars... More

Me and my friends were browsing the internet for a cheap hotel that was oceanfront and reasonably priced. So we found the Polynesian Hotel and looked at the website and thought, "Gosh, this looks nice!" So we booked it for 4 nights and when we got there... the room was pretty clean, but there were a lot of problems with... More

DO NOT STAY HERE! You should def. believe what you read! The so called "beach & golf resort" is more of a "getaway" for hookers, drug dealers/addicts, bratty teens and any other trashy people you can dig up in Myrtle Beach. You can def. tell that the owners of this "resort" spend no money whatesoever!! The elevators are shaky and... More

The name ot this motel is very misleading. It is far from a resort! When we checked in, they at first couldn't find our reservations. They then sent us to a room that was already occupied. After fixing that error, they told us that we would have to park across the street, behind another motel, in an unlit area. The... More
