Of course, the pics on their website looked great. Then we got there and the place is horrible. Filthy, large patches of wall covering peeled off everywhere, one elevator out of order and the other slow and clunky. Looks like a condemned building inside. Stayed one night (only because we had pre-paid the first nights stay) then went to Ocean... More

Place has not changed since the 90's. It's a dump, everything about it is old and not clean. The owners should not be allowed to open this place for business. Stove had rust spot, old mattresses, curtain at sliding door stained, mold around tub, shower curtain had mold on it. This is the worst place i've ever stayed at and it... More

My fiance and I stayed at The Polynesian on 9/10/14. We were greeted by a very nice front desk employee who actually went out of her way to see if we wanted a higher floor since we had an oceanfront balcony. We got to the room and after fighting with the key (haven't had a hotel metal key in FOREVER),... More

We planned a 4 day trip at the reef resort. We decided to go a night early and didn't want to pay a arm and leg. So I booked here (seeing as we will get in at 1am and check out at 11am) Well, AFTER booking they confirmed all these included cost. 50$ per "student" I'm not a student. I'm... More

My husband and I came from Jacksonville to the Polynesian Hotel and Resort for Labour Day. The room _was gross! Dog vomit on the floor and dog poo on the balcony. There was someone else's make up on the towels and the microwave smell like a dead animal! The beach was perfect..thankfully the city of Myrtle Beach did a much... More

Run don't walk from this place. My daughter was stuck in the elevator and it took six guys to get the door open. The other elevator was broken, so I have to walk the stairs over 20 times to the 8th floor. Down right nasty place!!!! Our toilet was not even bolted to the floor, it was like riding a... More

I did not have high expectations for the hotel since it was very cheap. However, I wasn't expecting the horrid environment I would be putting myself in. First, the hotel feels like a parking garage. the door to your room doesn't shut and lock properly, it took both of us to shut and lock when we were leaving the room.... More

This hotel had me in tears, never in my life have I been so disgusted. The pictures from the hotel were not accurate to the room we stayed in, the staff was very unfriendly and the overall atmosphere was terrible. We checked in and had to call the manager 3 times to get a maintenance worker and housekeeping. We found... More

We stayed here to two nights. We booked before reading the reviews and once I did read them I dreaded the trip. It wasn't as bad as some people said, but it could stand a lot of improvements. First the parking is bad, it's hard to find a space. The room needed to be cleaner, and the air conditioner barely... More
