I booked my stay at Polynesian through "bookit.com". Went on over to their website and saw decent looking rooms for the price and FABULOUS reviews. I arrived at the hotel on friday afternoon and was SHOCKED at what I saw. I can not find words to describe just how rundown this "resort" is. I can't go into detail on everything,... more

I was robbed while in my bed a sleep. The hotel did not apologize nor did they offer a discount. I will never stay there again. I had my purse stolen along with all my money, credit cards and ID's. It may be cheap but it is NOT a fit place for anyone to stay in. more

My family and I had made reservations at the Polynesian hotel in Myrtle Beach for July 4th weekend. The children had NEVER seen the ocean and were excited about their first vacation! When we arrived the door wouldn't open. We asked for another room but we were told nothing could be done. Maintenance was sent to fix the door. The... more

This was by far the nastiest, dirtiest, unkept place I've ever attempted to stay. It was so bad that we didn't even stay there. We found a better room that was beach front, afordable, and clean. They call it Polynasian, I say PolyNOsian. NO way, No way, NO way. more

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone...I would not let my dog stay there...The elevators would not work properly, they reaked of pot and urine...There was not enough parking spaces for the amount of guests that were there...The front office staff was not very friendly. Upon arrival our lights would not work as well as the telephone..We had to... more

I am ashamed to have brought my family here. Due to Senior Week ( we were not informed) we had no where else to go. The room was a dirty mess. We stayed in room 201, the two room suite. We had our three children with us ranging in age 11 to 18. Everything leaked, the air conditioner, the sink,... more

i went to this hotel for senior week, i knew it wasn't going to be great because there are few places that rent to 18 yr olds but there was no excuse for this place. I went with two other girls and when we arrived in the parking lot the 1st thing we saw was a group of guests getting... more
