This is the dirtiest Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in and it ranks high on my list of the worst. The lobby smelled like mill dew or vomit, or maybe a combination thereof. The carpet in the room was new but was not laid down proffesionally; there were wrinkles everywhere. The bathroom floor had some grime on it that was slick under the shoe. I just covered the floor with extra towels so I could get out of the shower in the morning without touching it. The couch had stains on it and the white threads were showing on the armrest. The bead had thin, cheat linens of which the mattress cover did not fit. The pillows were well used and lumpy. The positive was the bed was somewhat comfortable. The fixtures were also old and did not quite match each other. I have to go back to the area in a month and will choose from several of the other Holiday Inn properties. Want to "Stay Smart"?? Don't stay here.
