I have stayed in many beach resorts on the N.C. coast and The Breakers was just about the worst. We were in a room the size of a broom closet, 2 people could not pass one another without backing up. Stayed in Paradise Tower (Top Floor!) and enjoyed a great view from a clean room. Everything went well, so not much interaction with staff outside of the seamless check-in. Brought 13yr old son and he enjoyed the Lazy River and quick access to the beach. Nicely located with quick access to all the best activities. more

My husband and I spend 7 nights in the Palms Tower. The room was 1143. The room was clean and the maid service was great. The only problem we had was the A/C vent in the kitchen rattled whenever the A/C in the livingroom came on but wasn't enough to complain about to maintenance. The staff at check-in were OK.... more
