''Serendipity" means an aptitude for making desirable discoveries by accident.( I however, do not believe in accidents) This a very unique and special finding. I had an extended stay at the Serendipity Inn and it does stand out from the rest. Mr. Phil, your host is in large part the reason why. A true gentleman, with the God given gift... More

We recently stayed for 10 days at the Serendipity Inn B & B in Myrtle Beach. It is located about 2 blocks from the beach, and has many restaurants nearby. It is just off King's Road, a major highway that traverses Myrtle Beach from north to south. We liked the room we had, and the location of the Inn. We... More

Innkeeper was very friendly and provided me cutlery and dishes for a surprise birthday cake. Quiet and down the street from a nice beach. Cute Victorian style rooms - don't be fooled by the exterior parking lot that makes it look like a motel. Couple restaurants nearby. Use innkeeper's expert local directions, not google maps for a nicer route to... More

It is a very nice b&b: the owner's family is around and very friendly, the breakfast is rich, there is a little pool and a whirlpool, the beach is just a few steps away. Still, something has to be done. It reminded me much of the british - oldfashioned, old. But charming!

This Mom and Pop Bed & Breakfast is wonderful! The Price of the room is fair and it was so quiet! The rooms have their own theme and very comfortable! Very close to the beach and the pool was very enjoyable! The breakfast was very and homemade. I enjoyed it very much and will come back again!

Very pleasant experience for my wife and I. Loved the atmosphere of this quiet bed and breakfast. If you are looking for a lazy river and screaming kids this is not the ace for you. Nice homemade breakfast each morning as we ate with the other guest and the owner. Just far enough from the beach, easy 6 minute walk.... More

My wife and I were in Myrte Beach to visit with relatives July 11-14, 2014, which was great, but we also needed a quiet place to rest and relax. Serendipity was just what we needed. The owner and host Phil is a great guy with lots of energy and very personable. We ate breakfast at Serendipity all three mornings that... More

My wife grew up in Myrtle Beach & has family there. We've stayed in various beach front hotels and apartments over the years but decided this year that we'd check Trip Advisor for B&B's. The reviews for the Serendipity Inn were overwhelmingly positive, although the negative ones always give one pause. We've just returned from 2 nights at the Serendipity... More
