Stayed for a couple of nights while on a trip to Charleston. Great location, clean rooms, comfy beds...no coffee in room (but in lobby), lots of open space to walk the dog...lots of stores and restaurants, some within walking distance, just across the bridge from Charleston, so an easy commute. Convenient to the Point where the battleships etc are located... more

i have stayed at red roof inns before, so i knew it would be basic, but they are nice for traveling with my dog since they have exterior doors & welcome dogs. i showed up without a reservation since i wasn't sure of my travel plans, and they honored the "red hot deal" rate from their website which was nice.... more

I recently attended a class reunion with 2 of my friends. We wanted a comfortable place with reasonable rates in close proximity to our dinner cruise ship. The Red Roof Inn was not on the top of my list but we stopped anyway. The room was clean, modern, and spacious enough for 3 women and their luggage :-) The staff... more

The location was great once we found the property. You can't see it tucked away behind trees and the Mobile station. You had to search for towels. There were three of us in our room and they would only give us 2 small bath towels and 2 wash cloths. When we asked for more towels we were told they were... more

The Red Roof was in a great location just over the bridge from the Charleston historical district and close to many restaurants. It is a couple of minutes away from the Ft. Sumter tour departure area in Patriot's Point and the U.S.S. Yorktown. The room was clean and housekeeping always serviced our room while we were out during the day.... more

My husband and I visit Charleston and the surrounding areas several times a year. We usually stay in the city, but this time all the hotel rates seemed so outrageous, we decided to give Mt. Pleasant a try. The location of this hotel was perfect....close to the city and to Isle of the Palms. The good news is I didn't... more

We booked this room through Hotwire because we got a good rate. After finding out what motel we got we read some of the reviews on Tripadvisor and became very concerned. When we got to our room we were very pleasantly suprised to find that the room looked like it had just been redecorated and, while small, was very clean... more

This was the second year we have stayed at this hotel. The reason we stay here is for the location. It is about one mile from the start line for the Cooper River Bridge Run and you can walk to the start. This is one of the only hotels I have found that does not require a minimum two (or... more

We stayed at this hotel out of desperation since there were no vacancies elsewhere. I should have known better! Our room was damp and muddy. The carpet was Wet! and there was a hole in the wall in the bathroom and hair on the Toilet Seat. Too many drifters hanging around the property. We felt unsafe! We complained and were... more
