This hotel was exactly the price point we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Check in was quick and I got the floor I requested. It was really close to downtown Charleston. The aircraft carrier was so close we could practically walk there. Patriots Point is also another place you can use to get to Ft. Sumnter.

For lack of a better analogy, I would describe this place is as lipstick on a pig. They modernized the look of the place, but the rooms were really small (felt like a Microtel); the carpets in the hall were dirty; the elevator was all scratched up; both beds were very uncomfortable and made a horrible sound every time we... We really enjoyed our stay, location is perfect, 1 block from 17. The Huddle house is within a block. The staff was great! I just want bananas at breakfast buffet!! Also, the place could definitely use a hot tub.

I normally stay at the BW Sweetgrass Inn when I am in Charleston but the price of that hotel was exorbitant so we decided to stay at this one, and we were pleased we did! The hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere, and the room was spacious with large comfortable beds. The TV was a huge plasma screen. Bathroom was great... More

It was not easy to find something affordable for a long Thanksgiving week end. We wanted near Isle of Palm and Charleston. This BW is the location. Just 2' from Patriot point, 10' from IOP and 15 ' from Charleston main street. The room were well maintained with comformatble bed(very firm), refrigerator and micro wave in the room. The free... We were in Charleston for my nephew's wedding. Down town prices were a little much for our budget. We chose this hotel and were very well pleased. The facilities were clean and well kept. Our room was very nice. Location was central to all the other events during the weekend. Had a wonderful time.

Good bed, lousy pillows- small, square, lumpy. Fairly clean but not spotless- don't look to hard in corners and behind toilet. Breakfast bar typical for hotels of this class. Internet worked well. Front desk okay. Parking fine, and location very good. Can get noisy- one group came by in the hall and sounded like they were in the room. Fortunately... More

This hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient. It took us only 5 minutes to get into Charleston...it's just over the bridge and that saved us over $100 per night compared to even the cheapest hotel in downtown Charleston. It was also a short drive to Sullivan's Island and the Isle of Palms and the little town of Mt. Pleasant is... More

This hotel is an excellent value. It's very clean, well managed and great location if visiting the Charleston area. We saved over $100 per night by staying here as opposed to accommodations in the downtown Historic District in Charleston proper. We were literally 5 minutes from downtown. Parking is free, continental breakfast is included and the staff is very helpful.... More
