One of our favorite places is Historic Charleston, but hotels in the city can be pricey. Mt. Pleasant is a nice place to stay, and the commute to the city is short and easy. We have stayed in this hotel multiple times and usually have a decent stay. The hotel is modern, staff are pleasant for the most part. However,... more

My brother and I have been staying at Best Western Patriot's Point every year we've come to Charleston, ever since we discovered the hotel on our first trip down. Let me say that I am very pleased with this property, and it's owners and management obviously take pains to keep things nice and their customers pleased. We came down without... more

We had booked well in advance of our stay, but when we arrived they did not have our requested room. I was put in a smoking room when I had requested non-smoking. Also we had reserved a room with fridge and micro-wave. They wheeled in some they had on carts because our room didn't have one. The room was tiny... more

Took a short trip to Charleston with my mom, the world's pickiest person! Our room, #223, was GREAT! It was very clean, beds where great, ac worked, heat worked, there is absolutely nothing that I could say was bad. My picky mom was impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was really clean and to me this is... more

June 2008 they were remodeling and I don't know if they've renovated the decor. I know new sinks were installed, they even had their new items laid out in front of the building so you had to watch where you stepped. The staff was nice enough, but the pricing was still outrageous - especially for the room. It was small,... more

The front desk staff was amazingly nice. Very chattty, remembered who we were when we came back in, very accommodating. Overall, the stay was fine. But....they do seem to be challenged in the maintenance area...there was only warm water for showers in the morning...as if it couldn't keep up. Our toilet broke while we were there (but not severely...I repaired... more

Stayed here for one night. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. They were just finishing off the room when we arrived and the housekeeping staff were lovely. The room was average size with a king size bed, ok for an overnight stay. Great location, restaurants and petrol station just around the corner. Just over the bridge from Charleston.... more

I booked rooms for 3 other couples as well as our family at this hotel in Mount Pleasant. The front desk help was excellent as was our housekeeper Delores. An added bonus was that in my room and my sisters room we had a mini-fridge with freezer and a microwave. We both have children so we figured this is why... more

Our party booked 4 rooms here~ 2 doubles, 1 single and one of the suites. For a family with 2 small kids the suite was great. We were all pleased with our rooms and the hotel in general. The location is great for seeing Patriot's Point and was really not that far from downtown Charleston. It's located off a side... more

My wife and I were booked to stay here in mid May while visiting in the area. The place was being remodeled and there was a fair bit of construction related activities going on, although the noise really wasn't bad. The room we got appeared to have been somewhat remodeled and had new carpet. However either the carpet itself or... more
