I decided during a snowstorm in January that my husband and I need a break from the winter weather. We had never been to Charleston. I knew that the area was quite historical. I also reviewed tripadvisor. I decided on the Plantation Oaks Inn. It really is central to everything. We stayed basically a week and toured the area. Steve... More

I can't believe we were thinking of staying at a hotel when we visited Charleston! This place is just like home, only with a delicious full breakfast every morning. The rooms are spacious, the beds are super-comfortable, and breakfast is generously portioned (and they were willing to accommodate my Passover dietary restrictions, too)! The innkeepers have great recommendations for restaurants... More

I have been to the Charleston area several times and this was by far my best trip. Greatly due to my stay here. The most comfortable bed, beautiful setting, wonderful food and friendly gracious host. The best little strawberry cookies!

We stayd at this B&B in Dec 2012 and were treated like royalty, 3 course breakfast was the norm and every bite was delicious. We stayed in the off season which meant that it was quiet but it was the perfect getaway and we enjoyed every moment. It is close to attractions in nearby Charleston and our host was more... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Plantation Oaks. The B&B was well laid out to give private areas for both guests and the inn keepers. Steve and Phyllis were great hosts. Attentive, and always willing to provide a wealth of local information. We were in the area looking for a home and Steve was able to give us great ideas... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights to visit the Charleston area. It's a fantastic b and b certainly helped by the hosts cooking skills! Impressed with the attention to detail that makes it extra special - freshly baked cookies in the hall and lounge to relax in the evening. Location wise it only took us ten minutes to... More

The Inn is very relaxing, the scenery and landscape are amazing. It's quiet and watching the sun rise and set on the marsh is amazing. Steve is a great inn Keeper. He is friendly and attentative to your needs. Once he found out I was a vegetarian, he made sure that I had breakfast i could enjoy by adding some... More

We loved the beautiful property and all the nature surrounding us. It was a quiet, comfortable, peaceful and quite clean. Our breakfast was delicious and a very generous portions, too. Steve recommended we see the Angel Oak on our way home and we are so glad we did, thanks!!!! Thank you for making our anniversary trip special.

Steve and Phyllis are great people and fantastic cooks! Breakfast each morning was so delicious and kept us "fueled" for the busy day ahead. The queen bed in our room was very comfortable (and I am very hard to please!!). There was a "sleep mate" under the bed to add white noise, which was a nice touch. They have 5... More

The hospitality was wonderful, we were given expert advice on what to see and where to eat from someone who has lived in the area and had a B&B for quite some time. Our room was lovely, air conditioned, charmingly decorated with amenities. Breakfasts were delicious, cookies in the daytime were a nice touch. The grounds lended themselves to relaxation... More
