We stayed at the Grove on our road trip from our home in Punta Gorda, FL to the NY area. We were a little anxious when we arrived due to the back road feel to the location. What we found was a charming old Victorian tucked away in a corner of town with the prettiest grounds. Great room and a... More

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful inn on our way from Florida to Virginia. This was our second stay at this charming inn. We stayed the night after Christmas the first time, and the inn was decorated beautifully! We couldn't wait to stay there again. This visit was as wonderful as the first one. We were met in... More

Denley and Ann Caughman are just the right hosts to make you feel like you are visiting old friends instead of staying at an Inn. The large yard and garden add to the experience. Do you have a six star rating?

My wife and I spent two nights here recently at this very special, wonderful and amazing place. The innkeepers, Denley and Ann Caughman, are the most gracious and accommodating hosts you could expect or ask for. The house itself is a living history museum that immediately draws you in and makes you feel you've stepped back into time. Denley and... More

We arrived at around 5 PM and were greeted by name at the door and welcomed in. The Innkeepers, Ann and Denley, were both cordial and warm, making us feel at home immediately. The Grove is a beautiful home, that has been lovingly restored by Denley and decorated by Ann. The location is indeed in a grove and has several... More

There is so much to tell about this lovely place, I don't know where to begin! Everything the website tells about is true and more. Just wait until you get here and eat one of the delicious breakfast and sleep in one of the beds, you will understand what a bed and breakfast is suppose to be like! I must... More

My husband and I stayed at The Grove this past weekend for a romantic getaway and it exceeded our expectations. The owners, Denley and Ann, were wonderful hosts; it was true southern hospitality at it's best. The house is beautifully restored with so much of it's original history which was very interesting. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is... More

We read the reviews before heading to the Grove. With reviews like that (all outstanding) you can't help but expect something to fall a bit short. Not here... And certainly not with Ann & Denley, the Owners. The property is even more amazing than it shows online. The rooms are even better. And the experience created by the Owners is... More

A true definition of a bed and breakfast. The innkeepers are so wonderful. I stayed here in June during a recent work assignment. I cannot express enough gratitude to everyone that recommended The Grove -- The Inn on Harlee for my stays there. Ann and Denley are so wonderful. The fresh baked breads and fruit trays in my room were... More

Stayed in the Brothers Room...great location on the second floor! Down a private hallway away from the other rooms. It is a wonderful place to stay and enjoyed our conversations with Ann and Denley...many revolved around our Christian faith. The porch setting is very peaceful and breakfast was outstanding.
