Anne and Denney have taken on ☺the full restoration and grounds of the Grove. Period time furniture has been restored and Master craftsman Denney has created other pieces from that time. All can be used and enjoyed. The grounds are being restored and Denney admitted that they have been surprised by some of the plants that have germinated and now... More

We spent a night at The Grove and it was a great experience. The house is beautiful, the owners are gracious and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and the tour of the home was incredible. This was our first time in a B&B and Ann and Denley certainly exceeded our expectations.

I've always wanted to share my love of B&Bs with my older granddaughters. The Innkeepers here welcomed them with open arms! They showed them the chickens and added a bed to accommodate 3 in our gorgeous room( and not a rollaway- another Antique bed!) . Our room had the most unique metal canopy single beds, one of which fit perfectly... More

My wife and I have stayed at many B&Bs in both the U.S. and Europe. We found The Grove- The Inn on Harlee to be one of best experiences ever. We were in the area to tour the Beneteau Boat Factory but we're intrigued by Denley and Ann's love the their home, their history and the area. This is not... More

The Grove is a working Victorian - Edwardian estate that offers guests a collection of possibilities in which to step back to a slower time and enjoy the restoration of a peaceful experience. E and C represent the kind of guest we are searching for. They came and experienced, and our enthusiasm is fed when guests allow us to help... More

Our recent overnight stay at The Grove was our 6th...need I say more? This B&B gives a complete package. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the service is gracious. The home is filled with history and the hosts are happy to share it with their guests. Although Marion is a half hour drive off the north/south interstate, it is worth every... More

Dear friends of ours treated us to two nights at this charming B&B in Marion, SC. We enjoyed the Senator's Room with its very comfortable bed, lovely furnishings, and super bathroom. Denley and Ann are the quintessential hosts, willing to share historical anecdotes to transport their guests to another era. A copy of the story of the Grove written by... More

I stayed three nights while taking care of family business and what a delight! The food was great, the accommodations were charming and Denley and Ann were the perfect hosts. The room was large and well appointed. I particularly enjoyed sharing a breakfast table with other guests.

We searched for a romantic getaway not far from home, and we found it in Marion at The Grove! Denley and Ann made us feel like family! They offered us dinner which smelled divine. Breakfast was served in the dining room, sharing the table with other guests. Ann is a superior cook! I enjoyed all the meals she prepared. Ann... More

We stayed in the Sisters Suite at The Grove on our way from Charlotte to Myrtle Beach after a 9 hour flight from London and 3 hour drive. It was a last minute booking only made a week before to break up the drive and what a great decision. The stay was perfect albeit too short. Denley and Ann are... More

We stayed at the Grove on our road trip from our home in Punta Gorda, FL to the NY area. We were a little anxious when we arrived due to the back road feel to the location. What we found was a charming old Victorian tucked away in a corner of town with the prettiest grounds. Great room and a... More
